Cowser went 1-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 18-0 win over the Rockies.

Cowser was a consistent contributor all game, stealing second and scoring in the second inning before crossing the plate again in the sixth and seventh. The 25-year-old is just 6-for-30 since the All-Star break but has swiped three bags during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing .217/.278/.404 with eight home runs, 18 RBI, 18 runs scored and six stolen bases across just 180 plate appearances.

Civale did not factor into the decision in Saturday's game against the Cubs, allowing three hits while striking out six across five scoreless innings. He did not issue a walk.

Civale did not give up an earned run for a second straight start, limiting the Cubs to three baserunners while generating 10 whiffs, though he was lifted in the sixth despite tossing just 69 pitches (47 strikes). His last two starts have brought down his numbers down to a 3.86 ERA and 1.34 WHIP across 63.2 innings this season. Civale is slated to start against the Angels on the road next weekend.

The Yankees acquired Rosario in a trade with Washington on Saturday in exchange for Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.

Rosario adds considerable versatility to the Yankees' roster, as he has played third base, second base, shortstop and right field this season. Over 47 games with the Nationals prior to the trade, he slashed .270/.310/.426 with five homers, 18 RBI and one stolen base. Rosario has seen more at-bats against lefties than righties this season and has hit southpaws well throughout his career, so he could be an option to at least occasionally spell the newly acquired Ryan McMahon -- who figures to get most of the starts at the hot corner but has struggled to a .599 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season.

O'Neill went 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, three RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 18-0 win over the Rockies.

O'Neill reached base in all four plate appearances, highlighted by a two-run homer in the second inning and an RBI single in the seventh. The 30-year-old has now delivered three straight two-hit efforts while homering in consecutive games for the first time this season. He owns a .211/.298/.398 slash with five long balls, 15 RBI, 17 runs scored and two steals across 141 plate appearances.

Mullins went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 18-0 win over the Rockies.

Mullins launched a three-run homer in the fourth inning and added a single in the sixth. According to Jake Rill of MLB.com, he became just the third player in franchise history to reach both 100 career home runs and steals. For the year, the 30-year-old is slashing .219/.297/.409 with 14 long balls, 45 RBI, 39 runs scored and 14 stolen bases across 338 plate appearances. He could be on the move at next week's trade deadline as a potential fit for a contender in need of outfield help.

Baker departed Saturday's contest against the Reds due to a right calf injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Rays aren't sure at this point if Baker is dealing with a cramp or a strain. If it's the former, Baker could be back in action shortly, but he could be out for longer if he's dealing with a strain. He's set for further evaluation Sunday.

Rodriguez will have right elbow surgery Aug. 8 to address a flexor tendon repair, and his UCL will be evaluated during the surgery to determine if any additional procedures are needed, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

An earlier report indicated Rodriguez will need Tommy John surgery, and while that remains a possibility, the full extent of the reliever's procedure won't be determined until the flexor tendon repair takes place. While Rodriguez is almost certain to miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign regardless, he could pitch in 2026 if Tommy John surgery is not needed. Assuming Rodriguez is indeed done for the current campaign, he'll finish with a 2.08 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 30.1 innings spanning 31 appearances while notching 12 holds.

Tauchman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Cubs.

Tauchman ended the Cubs' shutout effort in the ninth inning, when he belted a solo homer to right-center field off Ryan Pressly. It was the first time Tauchman has gone deep in back-to-back games this season, and the veteran outfielder has performed well at the plate since the All-Star break, going 9-for-29 (.310) with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last seven games.

Buxton exited Saturday's contest against Washington due to left side soreness, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Buxton was replaced defensively in the top of the seventh inning, though his previous at-bat came in the fifth. Per Gleeman, the All-Star outfielder is considered day-to-day for now. Should Buxton need to miss additional time, Harrison Bader could slide over to log more starts in center field.

The Royals placed Caglianone on the 10-day injured list Saturday due to a left hamstring strain.

Caglianone was pulled after two innings in the first game of Saturday's twin bill versus Cleveland after hurting his hamstring while running to first base. He went 0-for-1 in the contest and is batting .190 (4-for-21) since the All-Star break. It's not yet clear how much time Caglianone will need to miss, but while he's out, Randal Grichuk -- whom Kansas City acquired in a trade with Arizona on Saturday -- could take most of the starts in right field.
