Rogers went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays.

Rogers had the only two hits for Detroit and scored the team's lone run despite hitting in the nine spot in the lineup. It was the catcher's first multi-hit performance since June 13 and just his third of the year. This season has been a struggle for Rogers, who's slashing .184/.292/.316, and he's clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler on the Tigers' depth chart.

Lee allowed four runs on four hits in just an inning of work in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays. He struck out one.

With the Tigers down 2-0 entering the top of the ninth inning, Lee let things get out of hand with one of his worst outings of the season. The rookie righty started his campaign by posting a 2.05 ERA across his first 25 games, but he now has a 15.88 ERA over his last six appearances, getting tagged for multiple runs three times during the stretch. Fatigue is potentially becoming a factor for Lee, and the team could decide to send him back to Triple-A Toledo at some point for a reset.

Latz worked in relief in wins over Atlanta on Friday and Saturday, covering 1.1 innings between his two appearances while allowing one earned run on two hits and three walks.

Prior to his pair of relief appearances, Latz tossed five innings of one-run ball in a start against the Tigers on July 20, but he was never expected to receive multiple turns through the Texas rotation. The 29-year-old lefty has proven to be a dependable spot starter when called upon this season, but the Rangers aren't likely to have a permanent rotation spot available for him unless another starter succumbs to an injury. Even in that scenario, Jon Gray -- who was activated from the 60-day injured list earlier this week and moved to the bullpen -- might be the preferred option over Latz to fill any void in the rotation.

Carter went 1-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Carter knocked in the Rangers' first run in the second inning with a triple and then came home to tie the game at 2-2. He's knocked in runs in two straight contests. It's been a rough start to the second half for Carter, who went hitless over his first 12 at-bats following the All-Star break.

Vest (5-2) allowed two runs on three hits across an inning of relief to take the loss in Saturday's 6-1 defeat to the Blue Jays. He struck out one.

With the game scoreless through seven innings following a dazzling start by Tarik Skubal, Vest let things get away in the eighth. It was the first time the veteran righty had allowed more than one run in an appearance since June 15, and he had posted a stellar 0.96 ERA in nine games since then. Overall, Vest still has a solid 2.58 ERA across 45.1 innings this season to go along with 51 strikeouts, and he should be able to bounce back from the rough outing and get back to closing out games for the Tigers.

Jung went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Jung helped erase Atlanta's early lead when he singled in the game-tying run in the Rangers' two-run second inning. That gave Jung at least one hit in all five games since his return to the majors. The third baseman is 7-for-14 with three walks, a home run, two RBI and five runs scored since rejoining the MLB roster.

Manzardo went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in a 5-3 extra-inning loss to the Royals in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.

Manzardo gave Cleveland a lead in the top of the 10th inning before the Guardians were stung by Jonathan India's three-run home run in the bottom of the frame. The RBI was the 10th in the last eight games for Manzardo, who has gone 9-for-27 with three home runs and two doubles during that stretch.

Arias started at shortstop in both ends of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals and went a combined 1-for-6 with a double.

Arias was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday and reclaimed the position he held prior to his ankle injury. He and Brayan Rocchio made up the middle infield combo for both games Saturday and could split playing time at the two positions along with Daniel Schneemann.

Rocchio started at second base in both ends of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals. He went a combined 2-for-7 with one walk, two doubles and a run scored.

Rocchio remained on the roster following the activation of Gabriel Arias off the IL on Friday, and he was in the starting lineup at second base, with Arias at shortstop, prior to that game being postponed. Both players started at the same positions for both games Saturday. Rocchio has hit .258 since his return to the majors July 1, when he was called up to replace Arias. It looks like the two will occupy the Guardians' middle infield for now, which allows manager Stephen Vogt to move the versatile Daniel Schneemann, who started at two different spots, third base and right field, in Saturday's twin bill, around the diamond as needed.

Arrighetti (thumb) threw 62 pitches in his rehab appearance Saturday with Double-A Corpus Christi.

Arrighetti covered 3.1 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out two. He was sharper in his first rehab outing, though he did progress from 43 pitches. Arrighetti will make at least one more rehab appearance before being activated.
