O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

O'Hearn will hit the bench for the third time in four games while the Orioles face off against another lefty starter in Austin Gomber. O'Hearn is slashing just .212/.317/.269 in 60 plate appearances versus southpaws on the season and looks to have moved into a pure platoon role.

Anthony went 2-for-2 with two walks, a double and an RBI in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.

Anthony gave Boston an insurance run with an RBI double in the fifth inning. He's reached base safely in 17 of the last 18 games, going 21-for-62 (.339) with 12 walks (.461 OBP) during that stretch. It took the prospect a while to acclimate to the majors -- he batted .114 over his 14 games -- but Anthony has slashed .341/.431/.500 over his last 24 contests.

The Yankees recalled Headrick from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

The left-hander spent most of July on the injured list at Triple-A, but he was reinstated last week and is now getting another look with the Yankees. Headrick has made 11 appearances in the majors this season and has a 4.73 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 13.1 innings.

The Yankees placed Judge (elbow) on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a right flexor strain.

Though Judge will head to the IL for the first time since the 2023 season, the superstar outfielder appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario after scans on his injured right elbow revealed no ligament damage, per Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com. Judge received a platelet-rich plasma injection for the elbow injury and is slated to avoid surgery, though manager Aaron Boone said that the two-time MVP won't throw a baseball for about 10 days to two weeks while he gives his elbow time to heal. Despite the lack of throwing activity, Judge will still have a chance at returning from the IL on Aug. 5 when first eligible, as the Yankees plan to initially use him as a designated hitter before he's cleared to play the outfield again. While Judge is on the shelf, Jasson Dominguez and Trent Grisham should both be in line for full-time roles in the outfield. Boone also noted that Giancarlo Stanton could also get some exposure to the corner outfield in order to open up the DH spot for Judge upon his return.

Bubic said after Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Guardians that "physically something's not right," adding that he's been pitching through shoulder stiffness "for a good portion of the season," Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander's fastball has averaged 92.1 miles per hour this season, but he sat at 90.2 mph during his start Saturday while tying a season high with four walks over just 2.2 innings. Bubic will likely be evaluated throughout the week, and his availability for his next turn through the rotation -- which tentatively lines up for next weekend in Toronto -- is firmly up in the air. Regardless of whether he's available for his next start, the injury is worth monitoring since Bubic's workload this season (116.1 inning) is already approaching his career high of 130 innings from 2021.

Boyle is listed as the Rays' probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Yankees in New York.

Boyle will fill the spot in the rotation that opened up when Taj Bradley was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Thursday. Over 15 appearances (14 starts) in the minors this season, Boyle had been one of Triple-A's top hurlers with a 1.73 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 96:31 K:BB in 73 innings, and he's carried that success over to the majors. In his five appearances (one start) with Tampa Bay, the right-hander has spun a 1.42 ERA and 0.63 WHIP while punching out 18 batters over 19 innings. He made a five-inning appearance as recently as July 6, so he should be capable of working deep enough into Tuesday's start to qualify for a win. Given his sterling ratios, Boyle looks worthy of rostering in just about any fantasy league now that he's in line for an extended stay in the rotation.

Ginn will start Sunday's game against the Astros.

Ginn was called upon to fill the vacant spot in the Athletics rotation Tuesday against the Rangers, and while the right-hander was limited to 58 pitches, he fared well in a no-decision, limiting Texas to one earned run on five hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings. Ginn will be rewarded with a second start, and he should be capable of giving the Athletics around 70-80 pitches Sunday.

Rogers went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays.

Rogers had the only two hits for Detroit and scored the team's lone run despite hitting in the nine spot in the lineup. It was the catcher's first multi-hit performance since June 13 and just his third of the year. This season has been a struggle for Rogers, who's slashing .184/.292/.316, and he's clearly fallen behind Dillon Dingler on the Tigers' depth chart.

Lee allowed four runs on four hits in just an inning of work in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays. He struck out one.

With the Tigers down 2-0 entering the top of the ninth inning, Lee let things get out of hand with one of his worst outings of the season. The rookie righty started his campaign by posting a 2.05 ERA across his first 25 games, but he now has a 15.88 ERA over his last six appearances, getting tagged for multiple runs three times during the stretch. Fatigue is potentially becoming a factor for Lee, and the team could decide to send him back to Triple-A Toledo at some point for a reset.

Latz worked in relief in wins over Atlanta on Friday and Saturday, covering 1.1 innings between his two appearances while allowing one earned run on two hits and three walks.

Prior to his pair of relief appearances, Latz tossed five innings of one-run ball in a start against the Tigers on July 20, but he was never expected to receive multiple turns through the Texas rotation. The 29-year-old lefty has proven to be a dependable spot starter when called upon this season, but the Rangers aren't likely to have a permanent rotation spot available for him unless another starter succumbs to an injury. Even in that scenario, Jon Gray -- who was activated from the 60-day injured list earlier this week and moved to the bullpen -- might be the preferred option over Latz to fill any void in the rotation.
