Hendricks (6-7) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out three over six-plus innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Sunday.

Hendricks was efficient, throwing 48 of 71 pitches for strikes. His last offering was taken out by Cal Raleigh to lead off the seventh inning, which ended Hendricks' start, but it was still a good performance from the veteran right-hander after he had allowed 11 runs (10 earned) over his previous three starts spanning 13.2 innings. He also came away with his first win since June 17 versus the Yankees. On the year, Hendricks has a 4.73 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB through 106.2 innings across 20 starts. He is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing three runs on four hits and five walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

Buehler's final line certainly could have looked a lot worse, as the right-hander struggled again with his command -- Buehler's issued 23 walks over just 34 innings in his last seven starts. His ERA now sits at a subpar 5.72 on the year with a 1.54 WHIP and 71:41 K:BB across 18 starts (89.2 innings). Buehler is currently lined up to face the Astros at home in his next outing.

Langeliers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-1 win at Houston.

The 27-year-old capped a successful weekend series against the Astros by launching a 378-foot solo shot off starter Colton Gordon in the first. This marks the third consecutive contest Langeliers has gone deep, as he wraps the four-game sweep with a .375 average (6-for-16), three homers, five RBI and five runs scored. Through 310 total plate appearances, the Athletics backstop is slashing .252/.306/.486 with 17 long balls, four steals, 42 RBI and 37 runs scored across 76 games.

Sugano (8-5) earned the win Sunday over the Rockies, allowing a run on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

It was an impressive outing from Sugano, who matched a season high with his eight strikeouts while allowing a lone run on a Warming Bernabel homer in the second inning. It's the second quality start in three outings since the All-Star break for Sugano. The 35-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 4.38 with a 1.33 WHIP and 71:28 K:BB across 20 starts (109 innings) this season. Sugano is currently scheduled to face the Cubs on the road his next time out.

Andujar went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-1 victory over the Astros.

The Athletics third baseman led off the contest with a 346-foot blast down the right-field line off Houston starter Colton Gordon. Andujar later added a single to collect his third multi-hit performance in 11 games this month. Across 219 total plate appearances, the 30-year-old is slashing .291/.324/.398 with 20 runs scored, 23 RBI and an excellent 12.8 percent strikeout rate.

Ginn (2-2) pitched six scoreless innings with four strikeouts to pick up the win Sunday at Houston. He allowed three hits and no walks.

The 26-year-old righty notched his first quality start of the season, as he generated 10 whiffs out of his 77 total pitches in this performance. In two starts and three relief outings this month, Ginn has been a steady performer for the Athletics, pitching to a 2.25 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB in 16 frames. Through 44 total innings that include six starts, he now sports a 3.89 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 47:10 K:BB with a magnificent 53.7 percent groundball rate. Ginn currently lines up to make his next appearance against the Diamondbacks at home next weekend.

The White Sox promoted Montgomery from High-A Winston-Salem to Double-A Birmingham on Sunday, Jack Ankony of SI.com reports.

Montgomery will make the jump to Birmingham after producing a .260/.351/.445 slash line with eight home runs and five stolen bases over 291 plate appearances in 69 games with Winston-Salem. The 2024 first-round pick has already climbed two levels in the White Sox's minor-league farm system this season, and he could be on pace to make his major-league debut in 2026.

Gordon (4-3) took the loss Sunday against the Athletics, yielding four runs on six hits and no walks over five innings with six strikeouts.

The Houston southpaw opened the first frame by conceding solo homers to Miguel Andujar and Shea Langeliers and was unable to recover. Gordon tossed 99 pitches, 66 of which were strikes, as he did manage to notch six Ks for the first time in seven appearances, dating back to May 31. Across 62.2 total frames, the 26-year-old rookie sports a 4.74 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB. Gordon is currently slated to make his next start at Boston next weekend; however, his future in the Astros rotation may be limited as Luis Garcia (elbow), Cristian Javier (elbow) and Lance McCullers (blister) all are nearing returns from their respective injuries.

Langford went 2-for-3 with a three-run double, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over Atlanta.

Langford opened the scoring with the productive two-bagger in the first inning, setting the tone as the Rangers took early control against Atlanta starter Bryce Elder. Prior to Sunday, Langford was in a deep slump, having gone just 3-for-34 with a 4:18 BB:K over his previous 10 games since a four-hit effort July 11 versus the Astros. He got a one-time look at leadoff versus Detroit on July 20, but he's spent the last five games in the No. 6 spot. The 23-year-old outfielder is at a .233/.315/.413 slash line with 15 home runs, 42 RBI, 45 runs scored and 15 stolen bases across 85 contests this season.

Semien went 0-for-5 with a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over Atlanta.

Semien reached base on a fielder's choice and stole second before coming around to score on Wyatt Langford's three-run double in the first inning. This was Semien's 10th steal of the campaign, and he's logged three of them over his last six games despite going 2-for-22 at the plate in that span. He continues to struggle with consistency, slashing .223/.303/.358 on the year while adding 13 home runs, 52 RBI, 51 runs scored, 11 doubles and one triple through 105 games.
