Yastrzemski went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Yastrzemski -- whom the Royals acquired from the Giants on Thursday -- didn't take long to contribute to his new team, belting a two-run homer off Kevin Gausman in the second inning of Friday's win. Yastrzemski should continue to see most of the starts against right-handed pitching, meaning he'll be busy this weekend as the Blue Jays deploy Max Scherzer and Chris Bassitt on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Crawford went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Crawford has been in a significant slump since the All-Star break, going just 7-for-59 (.119) over his last 14 games. That didn't seem to weigh him down when he delivered a walk-off homer in the ninth inning for his first long ball since July 9 versus the Yankees. The rut has cost Crawford the leadoff spot versus right-handed pitchers -- Randy Arozarena has been atop the order for the Mariners in the last two games. Crawford still has a .265/.359/.364 slash line with eight homers, 42 RBI, 47 runs scored and five stolen bases over 107 games, but he doesn't often provide enough category coverage, which makes it tough to trust him in fantasy while he's hitting near the bottom of the lineup.

Gilbert allowed three runs on five hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Friday.

This was Gilbert's fifth outing of the year in which he issued zero walks. He had a rough third inning but was otherwise steady, throwing 63 of 88 pitches for strikes in his second quality start over his last three appearances. Gilbert is now at a 3.45 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 112:18 K:BB through 78.1 innings across 15 starts this season. The right-hander is projected for a favorable home start versus the White Sox next week.

Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double in Friday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Langeliers did his damage early, with the homer coming as part of the Athletics' four-run first inning. He's lifted five long balls over his last seven games, going 12-for-29 (.414) with seven RBI in that span. The hot stretch has the catcher up to a .258/.312/.507 slash line on the year. His .819 OPS is impressive, especially since it was at .709 entering the All-Star break. Langeliers has added 19 homers, 45 RBI, 41 runs scored, five stolen bases and 17 doubles through 80 contests this season.

Lopez (4-6) allowed five hits and two walks while striking out five over five scoreless innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Lopez wasn't efficient -- he needed 95 pitches (63 strikes) to get through his five frames -- but he got the job done against a depleted Arizona lineup. The southpaw had a middling July, posting a 5.30 ERA in 18.2 innings across four starts, though he has tossed 9.1 scoreless frames over his last two outings. For the season, Lopez has a 3.99 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 84:30 K:BB through 70 innings over 17 appearances (13 starts), which could make him a serviceable option in deeper mixed and AL-only formats. He's lined up for a favorable road start versus the Nationals next week.

Clemens started at first base and went 0-for-4 in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Guardians. He looks set to be the primary first baseman after the Twins made a flurry of trades Thursday, Matthew Leach of MLB.com reports.

Clemens continues to have a solid season since joining the Twins, as he hit three home runs with an .805 OPS in July. He'll likely have a regular role in the lineup the rest of the season since there doesn't appear to be a clear first baseman among the younger players the Twins will likely give trials to amid a rebuilding effort.

Abel will stay at Triple-A St. Paul after he was acquired from the Phillies, as the Twins want him to continue to work on tweaking his pitches, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Abel was one of Philadelphia's top prospects and was part of the return for closer Jhoan Duran. The Twins don't appear in a rush to bring him back to the majors, though the team has an opening for the fifth-starter role, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him in the majors again this season. The right-hander made six starts for the Phillies this year in his first taste of the majors and had a 5.04 ERA over 25 innings, but he's been dominant at the Triple-A level with a 2.31 ERA and 9.9 K/9 in 13 starts

Bradley will stay at Triple-A St. Paul after he was acquired from the Rays, as the Twins want him to continue to work on tweaking his pitches, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

The Twins don't have a clear fifth starter at the moment, so it's possible Bradley is called up to start Tuesday at Detroit. However, the Twins so far are saying he'll stay in the minors.

Grisham went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, two additional runs scored and a walk in Friday's 13-12 loss to the Marlins.

Grisham added his 19th homer of the season, and he crossed the plate at least three times on his second occasion this year. Aaron Judge's (elbow) absence has helped solidify Grisham's everyday role, although the latter has done well in his own right to maintain that status. Across his last 30 contests, Grisham has slashed .272/.375/.495 with six big flies, five doubles and 15 RBI.

Outman will stay at Triple-A St. Paul after he was acquired from the Dodgers, as the Twins want him to return to everyday playing time and work on a possible swing adjustment, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Outman has dominated pitchers in Triple-A this season with a .970 OPS through 333 plate appearances, but he had just four hits in 39 at-bats with the Dodgers. Outman still could get called up and get a trial with Minnesota, but he's not in the team's immediate plans despite ample playing-time opportunities after the team traded away 10 players in the last week.
