Hader walked one and struck out two across a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday against the Marlins.

Hader hadn't appeared in a game since Friday, so he made an appearance despite Houston holding a four-run lead. He walked the second batter he faced but ran into little trouble and has now turned in seven consecutive scoreless appearances since the All-Star break.

Baez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's tilt against the Twins.

Baez had been slated for a day off Tuesday before being inserted to the lineup after Gleyber Torres (forearm) was scratched. Instead, Baez will get his breather Wednesday while Zach McKinstry plays shortstop and Matt Vierling handles center field.

Torres (forearm) will start at second base and bat second in Wednesday's game versus the Twins.

Torres was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Tuesday's 6-3 loss as he battled some tightness in his left forearm, but he's been cleared to play in Wednesday's series finale. The second baseman enters play Wednesday with two home runs in his first four games this month.

Hernaiz went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Hernaiz left the yard for the second time in six games since being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas to take the Jacob Wilson's (forearm) spot at shortstop. Hernaiz has now recorded a hit in five of six games and has not struck out over 22 at-bats. Hernaiz should continue to get a lot of at-bats with Wilson's timeline to return still unclear.

Mangum went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Angels.

Mangum remains a near-everyday player for the Rays but has struggled mightily since the All-Star break. He's gone just 8-for-51 with one double and three runs scored, with Tuesday marking his first RBI in his last 16 starts. Positively, Mangum has four stolen bases in that span, but his fantasy appeal is limited.

Bleday went 4-for-6 with a two-run homer, a double, six RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Bleday homered amidst a second consecutive four-hit effort since he was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday. He's now gone 8-for-11 with two doubles, two homers, seven RBI and five runs scored since being back with the big club. The outfield remains a bit crowded in Sacramento, but as long as Bleday is swinging a hot bat, he should continue to get opportunities at the plate.

Simpson went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a double Tuesday against the Angels.

Simpson missed four consecutive games due to a finger injury but returned to hit atop the Rays' order Tuesday. He delivered an RBI double in the fourth inning as part of a seven-run frame. That marked only Simpson's 10th extra-base hit in 66 games, and speed remains his primary source of fantasy intrigue as he has 32 stolen bases.

Kurtz went 3-for-4 with a double, two walks and four runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

In a game in which the Athletics scored 16 runs, Kurtz was unable to drive anyone in despite a productive night at the dish. He did touch home plate four times, however. At just 22 years old, Kurtz has adapted to big-league pitching remarkably well and is hitting .486/.560/1.000 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 24 runs and two steals in 19 games since July 11.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Tuesday against the Angels.

Lowe led off the scoring for the Rays in the fourth inning by smacking his 20th home run of the season. He has at least one hit in six of eight games since the All-Star break and now has seven home runs across his last 26 games. Lowe also has at least 20 long balls in three consecutive campaigns.

Langeliers went 5-for-6 with three homers, a double and four runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Langeliers posted a historic night at the plate in his first career start in the leadoff spot. He started things off with a leadoff home run before homering again in the fifth and seventh innings. Langeliers became the fifth catcher in MLB history to hit 20-plus homers in three of his first four seasons. He now has 10 home runs since coming back from the All-Star break, which is tied with Kyle Schwarber for the most in baseball.
