Royals' Ryan Bergert: Fans seven in no-decision
Bergert did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the White Sox. He allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings while striking out seven.

Bergert tossed 62 of 95 pitches for strikes and forced 15 whiffs, including eight with his slider. He's been impressive since joining Kansas City, posting a 2.70 ERA with a 17:5 K:BB through 16.2 frames. For the year, Bergert owns a 2.75 ERA and a 51:23 K:BB across 52.1 innings. Albert Suarez RP | BAL
Orioles' Albert Suarez: Tosses three innings in rehab start
Suarez (shoulder) struck out a batter and allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks over three innings in his rehab start Sunday for Triple-A Norfolk.
After kicking off his rehab assignment Tuesday at Double-A Chesapeake with a two-inning start, Suarez moved up a level and tacked an inning on to his workload in his second outing in the minors. The Orioles are expected to deploy Suarez in long relief once he's activated from the 60-day injured list, but he'll likely continue to get further stretched out during his rehab assignment just in case he's needed to provide insurance for the rotation over the final month of the season. Suarez has been on the shelf since March 30 due to a right subscapularis strain.

Blue Jays' Jose Berrios: Yields six runs in loss
Berrios (9-5) took the loss against the Rangers on Sunday, allowing six runs on 10 hits while striking out two across 4.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.

That momentum was brought to a screeching halt, with Berrios giving up two home runs before being pulled midway through the fifth after tossing 87 pitches (56 strikes). It was the fourth time he has given up six runs in a game, with the last instance taking place July 2 against the Yankees. Berrios has yielded 140 hits (across 146.1 innings) this season, which is fifth most in the American League. He'll aim to get back into the win column in his next start, which is tentatively lined up for next weekend on the road against the Marlins.

Yankees' Jonathan Loaisiga: Starts up rehab assignment
Loaisiga (back) began a rehab assignment Sunday with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and struck out a batter while allowing one hit and one walk over one scoreless inning.

The right-hander had submitted a 4.25 ERA and 1.48 WHIP while collecting one save and seven holds over 29.2 innings before landing on the IL.
