Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Clubs 41st homer
Suarez went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Padres.
Suarez sparked Seattle with a go-ahead three-run homer in the fifth inning, but the momentum was short-lived as San Diego answered back in the sixth inning and held on for the win. Since being dealt from Arizona at the trade deadline, the third baseman has struggled to replicate his previous success, slashing .174/.250/.395 with four doubles, five homers and 14 RBI across 24 games in his second career stint in a Mariners uniform.

Riley Greene LF | DET
Tigers' Riley Greene: Launches grand slam in loss
Greene went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Athletics.
Greene has hit safely in five straight games, with three homers among his seven hits in that span. The outfielder made an early impact in the third inning Tuesday, though the Tigers coughed up the lead in the bottom of the frame. Greene is now at 32 homers, 99 RBI, 72 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .268/.323/.517 slash line through 130 contests on the year.

Will Vest RP | DET
Tigers' Will Vest: Takes blown save, loss
Vest (6-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and three walks over one-third of an inning, taking the loss and a blown save versus the Athletics on Tuesday.
Vest couldn't find the strike zone, throwing just nine of 23 pitches for strikes. It was just the fourth time all year he's walked multiple batters in an appearance. Vest has allowed six runs (five earned) over 11.1 innings in August, converting three of his five save chances. With Kyle Finnegan yet to allow a run since being acquired from the Nationals, Vest can't afford to have too many shaky outings. Vest is 19-for-25 in save chances while adding three holds with a 2.81 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 64:19 K:BB through 57.2 innings this season.

Charlie Morton SP | ATL
Tigers' Charlie Morton: Surrenders five runs
Morton allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Tuesday.
Morton had trouble early, allowing a three-run home run to Jacob Wilson in the first inning. A pair of wild pitches didn't help Morton's performance, but the Tigers' offense spared him from ending up with a loss. Morton is now at a 5.25 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 137:58 K:BB through 128.2 innings over 28 appearances (22 starts) between Detroit and Baltimore this season. The right-hander's next start is projected to be at home versus the Mets.

Randy Arozarena LF | SEA
Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Drives three-run homer in loss
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.
Arozarena made his lone hit count Tuesday, launching a three-run homer off Dylan Cease in the fifth inning to trim the Padres' lead. A few batters later, Eugenio Suarez followed up with a three-run shot of his own to put the Mariners ahead, though they ultimately gave the lead back. At the plate, Arozarena has been in a bit of a slump, batting .213/.289/.385 over his past 30 games, but he's still managed to produce six home runs during the stretch.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Racks up three hits in win
Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Tigers.
Langeliers wasn't able to lift another homer, but he logged his first multi-hit effort since Aug. 15 versus the Angels. The catcher has been sensational this month, batting .306 with 11 home runs and 22 RBI over 22 games in August. That surge has him up to a .266/.311/.547 slash line with 29 homers, 65 RBI, 60 runs scored, 23 doubles and five stolen bases through 101 contests on the year. He is on track for career-best numbers across the board in his third full major-league season.

Jacob Wilson SS | ATH
Athletics' Jacob Wilson: Blasts 12th homer
Wilson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

He's gone 6-for-20 (.300) with two homers and eight RBI over five games since returning from a forearm fracture. Wilson has shown no rust, and the shortstop now has a .311/.353/.450 slash line with 12 homers, 53 RBI, 50 runs scored and five stolen bases over 99 contests this season.

Osvaldo Bido RP | CHW
Athletics' Osvaldo Bido: Poor showing as starter Tuesday
Bido allowed four runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five over three innings in a no-decision versus the Tigers on Tuesday.
Bido had posted a 3.18 ERA over 17 innings as a reliever since his July 10 call-up from Triple-A Las Vegas. He didn't fare as well as a starter, giving up a grand slam to Riley Greene in the third inning, though the Athletics were able to quickly reclaim the lead in their half of the frame. Bido threw 44 of 66 pitches for strikes in this outing. For the season, he's at a 5.66 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 54:27 K:BB through 68.1 innings over 20 appearances (10 starts). He's projected to make his next start at St. Louis and could stick in the rotation as the Athletics navigate the absences of Jack Perkins (shoulder), Jacob Lopez (elbow) and Luis Severino (oblique).

Luis Castillo SP | SEA
Mariners' Luis Castillo: Ambushed early in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks over five innings in a 7-6 loss against San Diego. He struck out six.
Castillo ran into immediate trouble Tuesday, surrendering all five of his earned runs in the first inning, punctuated by a Ramon Laureano grand slam. The 32-year-old hurler has hit a rough patch, pitching to a 5.45 ERA and 1.51 WHIP over 36.1 innings in his past seven starts. He's lined up to next take the mound Monday at Tampa Bay.

Hunter Brown SP | HOU
Astros' Hunter Brown: Takes sixth loss
Brown (10-6) took the loss Tuesday, allowing six runs (two earned) on six hits over 6.2 innings against the Rockies. He struck out seven without issuing a walk.
The right-hander's outing was undone in the third inning when a costly error by Jeremy Pena opened the door for a four-run frame (all unearned). Despite taking the loss and being charged with six total runs, Brown has now strung together six straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. On the year, the 26-year-old owns a stellar 2.37 ERA and 1.01 WHIP across 155.2 innings in 26 starts.
