Quantrill allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Wednesday.

Quantrill did his part, but the Rangers' bullpen couldn't maintain the lead after he exited. The veteran right-hander threw 50 of 85 pitches for strikes in his return to the rotation after serving as a reliever over the weekend. For now, it appears Quantrill will fill the vacated rotation spot of Nathan Eovaldi (elbow). Quantrill has filled a versatile role this year, pitching to a 3.44 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 49:22 K:BB over 70.2 innings across 25 appearances (eight starts). Should he stick in the rotation, he's tentatively lined up to make his next appearance at home in a tough matchup versus the Nationals.

Siri went 1-for-2 with a double, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Siri came off the bench, pinch hitting for Josh Lowe in the sixth inning before remaining in the game in left field. While Siri has been left on the short side of a platoon in the outfield for much of the year, he's been productive with his time. He's batting .262 with an .802 OPS, seven home runs, three steals, 21 RBI, 24 runs scored and eight doubles over 144 plate appearances. That's a vast improvement compared to the paltry .292 OPS he had in 36 major-league plate appearances for the Mets a year ago in a campaign largely lost to a fractured tibia.

Trout went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Trout had gone nine games without a multi-hit effort, batting .129 (4-for-31) during that slump. He's logged a steal in consecutive games and has 10 on the year, reaching double digits in the category for the first time since 2019. Trout is batting .240 with an .833 OPS, 20 homers, 44 RBI, 68 runs scored and 16 doubles across 102 contests this year.

Joyce struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.

This was Joyce's fourth big-league appearance since returning from right shoulder surgery. He's looked good so far, allowing just one hit and one walk with four strikeouts over four scoreless innings, adding a save and a hold along the way. Joyce will probably emerge as the favorite to close for the Angels in the long run. He's got tantalizing strikeout upside to fuel his fantasy potential even on a last-place team that won't produce many save chances.

Klassen (1-1) allowed two runs on five hits, one walk and one hit batsman while striking out five over six innings to earn the win over the Rangers on Wednesday.

Klassen has looked much sharper during his second stint in the majors, allowing just three runs over 10 innings across two starts, though he has an 8:5 K:BB in that span. The right-hander could have a chance to start regularly down the stretch if he can build off his first career quality start, though he'll have to compete with Ryan Johnson for the last spot in the rotation when Yusei Kikuchi (shoulder) is activated. Klassen is at a 5.52 ERA, 2.11 WHIP and 14:15 K:BB through 14.2 innings across four starts, but his numbers are still skewed by his two poor outings in April. He's tentatively lined up for a road start in Houston next week.

Lynch (4-4) allowed three runs on three hits and struck out three without walking a batter over 2.1 innings, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Dodgers.

Lynch's second turn through the rotation was only marginally better than the first, though he was tagged for home runs by Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani. Lynch was able to work his way up to 39 pitches (28 strikes), but he's still got some stretching out to do if the Royals continue to keep him in a starting role. Overall this year, he's at a 2.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 40:14 K:BB through 50 innings across 48 appearances (two starts). Lynch won't be much of a factor in fantasy until he gets to the five-inning mark consistently. His next outing is projected to be at home versus the Athletics.

Peraza was removed from Wednesday's game against the Rangers with a left hand contusion.

Peraza took a 95-mph fastball off his hand during the sixth inning and was replaced on defense at the start of the seventh. He seems to have escaped the incident with nothing more than a bruise, but the Angels could still keep him on the bench for a day or two while he deals with lingering soreness.

Perez was removed from Wednesday's game against the Dodgers due to right elbow aggravation.

The severity of Perez's injury remains unknown, but the Royals will take a closer look at him and should provide more information in the near future. Starling Marte could receive more opportunities to work as Kansas City's designated hitter if Perez needs to miss additional time.

Jones went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a pair of doubles in Wednesday's 10-5 win over Seattle.

On a night when the Yankees banged out a whopping eight extra-base hits, Jones accounted for two of them out of the No. 3 lineup spot. Luis Garcia has gotten off to a bit of a slow start since joining the Yankees, so it remains to be seen how New York will handle its batting order going forward. Jones has provided some pop while getting on base at a healthy clip but has struggled to hit for average, slashing .218/.312/.403 with five homers, 18 RBI, five stolen bases and 12 runs scored across 141 trips to the plate.

Adell went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Tigers.

Adell slugged the go-ahead homer in the fifth to deep left field off Framber Valdez to give the Guardians a 4-3 lead. The 27-year-old now has hit long balls in back-to-back games, his first two in a Cleveland uniform. Since making his Guardians debut Aug. 4, Adell has a .172/.324/.448 slash line with four RBI and a 10:5 K:BB in 37 plate appearances.
