Astros' Kaleb Ort: Placed on IL
The Astros placed Ort on the 15-day injured list Friday due to right elbow inflammation, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Takes swings Friday
Rutschman (oblique) took swings off a tee Friday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Out of lineup versus left-hander
Crawford is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Atlanta.
It's a rare day off for the left-handed-hitting Crawford, who will begin the contest on the bench as Atlanta sends southpaw Chris Sale to the bump. Leo Rivas will cover shortstop and bat eighth.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Mariners' Luke Raley: Back in action Friday
Raley (side) will start at first base and bat ninth in Friday's game versus Atlanta.

Mariners' Josh Naylor: Sitting against lefty
Naylor is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus Atlanta.
With lefty Chris Sale on the mound for Atlanta, Naylor is getting the night off from the starting lineup. Naylor has been scuffling at the plate over the past month, slashing just .247/.281/.400 in that span. Luke Raley is starting at first base and batting ninth.

Adolis Garcia RF | PHI
Rangers' Adolis Garcia: On bench Friday
Garcia (quadriceps) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Houston.
Garcia will be out of the lineup for a third straight game due to a right quadriceps strain despite a team day off Thursday. The 32-year-old's absence has allowed for Alejandro Osuna and Ezequiel Duran to share right-field duties, with Duran drawing the start Friday. Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that the Rangers are optimistic that Garcia will avoid an IL stint.

Mason Barnett RP | ATH
Athletics' Mason Barnett: Receiving another start
Barnett is slated to start Friday's game against the Angels in Anaheim.
After being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas, Barnett made his first MLB start this past Saturday, taking a loss to the Rangers while allowing five earned runs on eight hits and no walks over four innings. The 25-year-old righty will get a chance to redeem himself Friday, but another poor showing could put him at risk of losing his spot in the Athletics rotation.

Dillon Tate RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Dillon Tate: Sent back to Buffalo
The Blue Jays optioned Tate to Triple-A Buffalo on Friday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Tate has appeared in six games out of the bullpen for Toronto this season, registering a 4.26 ERA, 2.21 WHIP and 8:6 K:BB across 6.1 innings of work. The Blue Jays recalled Braydon Fisher in a corresponding move.

Aaron Judge RF | NYY
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Starting in right field Friday
Judge (elbow) is starting in right field and batting third for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.
It marks Judge's return to the outfield after he's been dealing with a right elbow flexor strain that landed him on the injured list in late July. He's manned the designated hitter spot in the lineup since returning to the lineup Aug. 5. With Judge back in right field, Giancarlo Stanton will DH and bat fifth Friday.
