Barger (elbow) was in Toronto for a follow-up exam Monday, seeking the green light to start hitting and throwing Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Barger was a playoff standout for the Blue Jays last fall, slashing .367/.441/.583 in the postseason, but his 2026 campaign has been plagued by injuries so far. He first hurt his ankles in an awkward landing at first base in early April and returned for just one start before landing right back on the IL with right elbow inflammation. Barger seems eager to begin ramping up his activities, however, and the expectation is still that he will be a big part of the Toronto lineup when healthy.

Ginn (2-2) was the pitcher of record in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Angels after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out 10 batters over eight-plus innings.

Ginn dominated through eight frames, holding the Angels without a hit while establishing a new career-high strikeout total. The game was tied 0-0 heading into the ninth, but the Athletics scored a run in the top of the inning to give Ginn a shot at history. In an absolutely brutal ending to a fantastic outing, Ginn gave up a leadoff single to Adam Frazier to lose the no-hitter before Zach Neto tagged him for a two-run, walk-off home run. Ginn's start will be most remembered for the way it ended, but fantasy managers who roster him should take solace in the strength of his overall performance. He not only picked up third straight quality start but also demonstrated improved swing-and-miss stuff with 14 whiffs.

Falter will work as the Royals' opening pitcher Tuesday in a bullpen game against the Red Sox, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Falter is in line for his second appearance since being activated from the 15-day injured list Saturday. The southpaw handled two innings in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Cardinals, and even though he'll be pitching on just two days' rest Tuesday, a multi-inning appearance isn't out of the question.

Foscue went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles, a walk and three total RBI in a loss to the Rockies on Monday.

Foscue did his best to keep the Rangers in the contest, registering an RBI double in each of the second and sixth innings around a solo homer in the fifth. The 27-year-old came into the game having gone just 4-for-22 on the campaign, but his 3-for-3 performance lifted his season batting average from .182 to .280. Foscue has started four straight games for Texas and could continue to see consistent playing time moving forward while Josh Smith (lower body/wrist/illness) and Corey Seager (back) remain on the IL.

Jeffers left Monday's game against Houston with a left wrist sprain, Aaron Gleeman of AaronGleeman.com reports.

Jeffers was removed from the matchup in the middle of his at-bat during the eighth inning after taking one swing, which resulted in a broken bat. Gleeman adds that the backstop will be sent for further testing Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury. Victor Caratini would be in line for more work behind the dish if Jeffers requires a trip to the injured list.

Wilson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 16-6 loss to the Rays.

Wilson, who remains mostly stuck in short-side platoon role, belted his first homer of the season Monday. The utility player doesn't have a clear pathway to action at any position, especially now that Jackson Holliday (hand) is back with the Orioles. Wilson has at least been effective when called upon, batting .290 with two extra-base hits, three RBI, six walks and two stolen bases over 31 at-bats.

Perez (forearm) was activated from the 7-day injured list Wednesday.

Perez got off to a slow start to 2026 after being diagnosed with a forearm strain. He's since completed a rehab assignment and returned to Double-A Arkansas, where he's allowed three runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out three over two innings (two appearances).

Clement went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, four RBI, one walk and two runs scored in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Yankees.

Following back-to-back singles from Vladimir Guerrero and Kazuma Okamoto to lead off the top of the fourth inning, Clement took Ryan Weathers deep for a two-out, three-run shot to give the Blue Jays a 3-1 lead. He later drove in a fourth run with a fielder's choice groundout. After failing to homer in the first 29 games of the season, Clement has three homers over his last 17 contests. He's now slashing .283/.309/.406 with the three long balls, 16 RBI, 18 runs scored, one stolen base and a 7:15 BB:K across 188 plate appearances this season.

Springer went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Yankees.

Springer saw the ball well against lefty Ryan Weathers, singling to lead off the game before taking him deep for a solo homer to give Toronto a 4-3 lead in the fifth. It was Springer's first homer since returning from the injured list April 29 and first since the Blue Jays' fourth game of the season on March 30. It snapped a personal 23-game homer-less drought for the 36-year-old, who had been 0-for-11 over his previous three games. On the season, Springer is slashing a disappointing .196/.277/.327 with three homers, nine RBI, 10 runs scored, one stolen base and an 11:23 BB:K across 120 trips to the plate.

Jeffers left Monday's game against Houston with an unspecified injury, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Jeffers was pulled from the game during his at-bat in the bottom of the eighth inning, though the nature of the injury is unclear at this time. He broke his bat on his first swing of the at-bat and didn't look comfortable afterward, and he eventually walked off the field to be evaluated further. Jeffers can be considered day-to-day until more information comes to light.
