Osuna is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
The left-handed-hitting Osuna had started in right field for the last three matchups against right-handed pitchers, but he'll give way to Cody Freeman while the Astros send southpaw Framber Valdez to the hill. With Adolis Garcia (quadriceps) on the injured list, Osuna looks poised to occupy a strong-side platoon role in the corner outfield in the short term.

Pederson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
Pederson will join fellow left-handed hitters Alejandro Osuna, Josh Smith, Rowdy Tellez and Dustin Harris on the bench as the Rangers stock up on right-handed bats to counter southpaw Framber Valdez. Jonah Heim will assume designated-hitter duties with Pederson out of the lineup.

Angels' Chase Silseth: Returns to Triple-A
The Angels optioned Silseth to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
The right-hander was promoted from Salt Lake on Saturday and will return to Triple-A after giving up a run over 1.2 innings against the A's. Silseth has made four appearances in the majors this season and has allowed just one earned run with a 6:5 K:BB across four frames.

Astros' Jesus Sanchez: Sitting against lefty
Sanchez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Sanchez was in the lineup for the first two games of the series while the Rangers sent right-handers to the hill, but he'll take a seat Sunday with southpaw Patrick Corbin on the bump. Cam Smith will take over in right field.

Angels' Sammy Peralta: Contract selected
The Angels selected Peralta's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.
The left-hander joined the Halos on a minor-league deal in May and will now receive a look in the majors. Peralta posted a 4.33 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 70:14 K:BB across 70.2 innings with Salt Lake this season and is likely to fill a low-leverage relief role for the Angels.

Astros' Ramon Urias: Not in Sunday's lineup
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Urias started five straight games from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4, but he finds himself on the bench Sunday for the third straight game while in the midst of a 5-for-28 (.179) slump. Mauricio Dubon is receiving the start at second base in the series finale for Houston.

Royals' Adam Frazier: Left out of lineup Sunday
Frazier is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.
After starting the last five games and going 3-for-16 with one home run, one double, two walks, three runs and two RBI, Frazier will receive a breather. The Royals will go with Michael Massey at second base and Randal Grichuk in left field in the series finale.
