Merrill went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-5 win over the Giants.

He's gone 8-for-17 (.471) over four contests in May, adding a home run, three RBI and two steals. Merrill was atop the lineup for just the second time all season, as Ramon Laureano was given the day off Tuesday. Merrill's recent hitting should help him turn his season around. Even with the hot stretch, he's at a .235 average and .673 OPS for the year. The outfielder has added four homers, seven steals, 18 RBI, 22 runs scored and seven doubles over 34 contests.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a second RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 10-5 win over the Giants.

Bogaerts has a pair of multi-hit efforts in May, but he's gone hitless in his other three games this month. The shortstop got the Padres on the board with his second-inning solo shot, which was his first extra-base hit since he homered April 28 versus the Cubs. He's batting a steady .270 with a .781 OPS, six long balls, 20 RBI, 16 runs scored and four stolen bases across 34 contests this season.

Crawford went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Atlanta.

Crawford opened the scoring Tuesday with his third-inning homer, but that was all the run production Seattle would muster. The shortstop is heating up at the plate -- he's hit safely in his last seven games, going 8-for-27 (.296) with three homers and five RBI in that span. That's a stretch that has started to lift him out of his slow start, though he's still hitting .210 with a .723 OPS, four long balls, 11 RBI, 17 runs scored and a stolen base over 29 contests this season.

Meidroth went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run in a loss to the Angels on Tuesday.

Meidroth brought the White Sox to within a run with a seventh-inning solo shot, but that was the final tally by either team in the contest. The second-year infielder isn't known for his power, and Tuesday's long ball was just his second of the season. However, he's been pretty decent at getting on base, logging a .269/.342/.369 slash line along with 21 runs scored, five RBI and one stolen base through 34 games. Meidroth is working on a six-game hitting streak.

Neto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-3 victory versus the White Sox.

Neto broke a 2-2 tie with a fifth-inning solo homer that traveled an estimated 410 feet. It was the shortstop's first long ball since April 10 -- a span of 23 games. Neto was frequently a top-30 fantasy pick during 2026 drafts after logging 26 homers and 26 steals last season, but he's gotten off to a somewhat slow start outside of the stolen-base department this year. Through 37 contests, he's slashing .218/.327/.395 with six homers, 24 runs, 16 RBI and seven thefts.

Correa will miss multiple weeks, possibly months, due to a significant left ankle injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Correa injured his ankle while taking batting practice before Tuesday's game against the Dodgers. He's slated to visit a specialist Wednesday to determine exactly what he's dealing with, but the Astros aren't optimistic that they'll receive good news. The 31-year-old has been working as Houston's primary shortstop due to Jeremy Pena (hamstring) being on the injured list, though that title will likely now belong to Nick Allen until Pena returns.

Shewmake went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in a 2-1 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Shewmake hasn't gotten many opportunities since he was called up April 20, and this was his first start in the Astros' past six contests. He made the most of it by logging half of Houston's four total hits, including a solo homer in the third inning, which proved to be the winning run. Shewmake has been effective when given a chance with a .308/.308/.769 slash line, two home runs and two RBI over 14 plate appearances. He could be in for more playing time moving forward as a result of Carlos Correa injuring his left ankle Tuesday and looking at an extended absence.

Hernandez (elbow) will kick of a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Hernandez is set for his first game action since undergoing surgery on his left elbow last November. The super-utility man is currently on the 60-day IL and isn't eligible to be activated until May 24, and there seems to be a good chance that he'll be ready to join the big-league Dodgers at that time. In his initial rehab appearance Tuesday, Hernandez is playing third base and batting second for OKC.

Correa was scratched from the lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Dodgers due to a left ankle injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Correa will miss Tuesday's game after suffering an injury during pregame batting practice. The severity of his injury is still unclear, though the Astros will presumably offer more information after they take a closer look at him. In the meantime, Nick Allen will shift to shortstop to cover for Correa, and Braden Shewmake will enter the lineup to start at third base.

Rocchio is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Rocchio started the previous 15 games but will hit the bench Tuesday while in the midst of a 5-for-25 slump. Daniel Schneemann will shift to shortstop while Rhys Hoskins enters the lineup at designated hitter for Cleveland.
