Arias went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 13-4 loss to the Marlins.

Arias tied the game at 4-4 with a three-run blast off Eury Perez in the fourth inning. In 16 games since returning from the injured list July 26, the 25-year-old Arias has gone 15-for-58 (.259 average) with three homers, 12 RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base. For the year, he's slashing .236/.290/.393 with nine home runs, 43 RBI, 33 runs scored and four steals across 342 plate appearances.

Betts will start at shortstop and bat second Wednesday against the Angels.

Betts was left off the initial lineup card the Dodgers handed in Wednesday, but he'll end up back in the starting nine and aim to extend his hitting streak to eight games. Max Muncy will step out of the lineup to make room for Betts, shifting Alex Freeland to third base and Miguel Rojas to second.

Betts is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Betts has found his groove at the plate recently with a .400 average (12-for-30) over the past seven games, but he'll take a seat for the series finale in Anaheim. Miguel Rojas will receive a start at shortstop Wednesday for the Dodgers.

Correa is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Red Sox.

It's the first day off for Correa since he was traded back to the Astros at the deadline. Houston will have Ramon Urias at third base and batting seventh in Wednesday's rubber match with Boston.

Adames went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.

Adames went hitless for a fourth consecutive game, marking his longest streak without a hit since early June. The 29-year-old shortstop has struggled in August, slashing .111/.184/.244 with five runs scored, four RBI and two home runs across 49 plate appearances. Overall, he's now slashing .225/.311/.396 with 69 runs scored, 61 RBI, 18 home runs and four stolen bases over 508 plate appearances.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Blue Jays.

While Chicago struggled to get anything going with only four singles and the one run as a team, Swanson still managed to have a productive night from a fantasy perspective. The shortstop is batting .297 over his last 10 games with two home runs and two stolen bases. On the season, Swanson is slashing .253/.301/.415, and he's chipped in 18 long balls and 10 steals. It's the fifth time in his MLB career that he's reached double figures in both categories.

Ritter (finger) went 1-for-4 with two RBI in his first rehab game with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Ritter is finally ready to play in games again after going on the 10-day injured list nearly four weeks ago with a significant laceration on his right middle finger. He should not require too many rehab contests before rejoining the Rockies' active roster, and with Thairo Estrada (hamstring) done for the season, Ritter could take over as the Rockies' regular second baseman.

Pena went 3-for-5 with a stolen base during Tuesday's 14-1 loss to Boston.

Pena produced one-third of Houston's hits during the blowout -- all singles -- and notched his 17th stolen base of the campaign. The shortstop is now three steals shy of tying his career high in the category after logging a steal in back-to-back games. Pena is 12-for-41 (.293) with a homer, two doubles and a triple during August.

Meidroth (thumb) hit off a pitching machine prior to Tuesday's game against the Tigers, MLB.com reports.

Meidroth landed on the injured list Thursday but had been sidelined by the injury since early August. He is reportedly feeling better and has begun to ramp up his activity as a result. Meidroth is eligible to be activated Aug. 15, which looks to be a realistic possibility.

Volpe went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the Twins.

The speedy shortstop belted his 18th homer of the year, and he tallied at least three RBI for the seventh time in 2025. While Volpe has a middling .708 OPS for the campaign, he remains well within striking distance of a 20-20 season. Over his last 133 at-bats (36 games), he's slugging .436 with 13 extra-base hits, 21 RBI and six stolen bases despite a .195 batting average.
