Troy is hitting .400 with more walks (12) than strikeouts (nine), a home run and a stolen base through 50 plate appearances for Double-A Amarillo.

Troy was destined to put up a strong stat line while playing half his games in the very hitter-friendly park in Amarillo, but his control of the zone stands out through his first 10 games at Double-A. He had an injury-riddled first half last year but finished strong with an .822 OPS, four homers and nine steals in his final 33 games at High-A before logging an .864 OPS in the Arizona Fall League.

Neto (shoulder) could be activated from the 10-day injured list as soon as Thursday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto played a full game with Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday and hit his fourth home run in what was his 12th rehab contest. He's slated for another nine full innings with Salt Lake on Wednesday. The Angels finish up a road trip in Texas on Thursday, so it seems likelier that they'll wait until their homestand -- which begins Friday -- before activating Neto. Sunday is the final day of Neto's 20-day rehab window, so the latest he'll be activated is likely Tuesday versus the Pirates.

Allen is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Allen had started each of Atlanta's last four games and appears to have overtaken Orlando Arcia as the team's primary shortstop, though the latter will get the start Wednesday in a day game after a night game. Over 38 plate appearances on the season, Allen is hitting .306 and has stolen four bases in five attempts, though a .407 BABIP has helped prop up his batting average.

Correa (wrist) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

After fouling off a pitch during his third plate appearance of the night in the fifth inning of Tuesday's 6-3 win, Correa was seen shaking his left hand in discomfort and was visited on the field by manager Rocco Baldelli and a team trainer. Following a brief conversation, Correa was lifted for a pinch hitter, and the Twins relayed afterward that he was dealing with a sore left wrist. He'll sit out Wednesday's series finale and will undergo an MRI as the Twins look to glean more information regarding the extent of the injury. Willi Castro will fill in for Correa at shortstop Wednesday, opening up a spot in the starting nine at third base for Brooks Lee.

Winn (back) played catch Tuesday, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Winn was cleared to begin baseball activities four days after landing on the 10-day injured list with lower-back spasms. A target date for his return should become available as he continues to ramp things up. Brendan Donovan and Thomas Saggese have been handling shortstop for the Cardinals with Winn out.

Perdomo went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-4 win over Marlins.

After Corbin Carroll doubled home the first run of Arizona's four-run second inning, Perdomo capped it with a three-run blast deep to right field. It was the shortstop's third homer through 17 games, matching last season's total over 98 games, and he's halfway to the career-high six he hit in 2023 (144 games). Perdomo leads Arizona with 16 RBI.

Correa, who left Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Mets with a sore left wrist, is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Matthew Leach of MLB.com reports. "The wrist is something I've been working on since spring," Correa said. "Just strengthening it, and I just felt a tweak on the swing and miss and then when I hit the foul ball, I felt pain in the area. It shouldn't be anything too serious."

Correa appears unlikely to play in Wednesday's series finale due to the injury. More information about his status will be known when the MRI results are disclosed, but the fact that his wrist issue dates back to last season is worrisome.

Correa was removed from Tuesday's game against the Mets due to left wrist soreness, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Correa was favoring his left hand/wrist after taking a swing in the fifth inning, and he had to leave the game without finishing his at-bat. If the 30-year-old infielder ends up needing to miss any amount of time, Brooks Lee would be next in line for more starts at shortstop.

The Cubs reinstated Brujan (elbow) from the injured list Tuesday, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Brujan has been on the injured list all season due to a sprained right elbow. He began a rehab assignment Thursday, going 4-for-13 with a stolen base in three games at Triple-A Iowa. Now fully healthy, the 27-year-old will replace Matt Shaw on the active roster and give the Cubs additional depth at nearly every position.

The Rangers re-signed Ahmed to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Ahmed spent the spring with the Rangers before he was let go March 22. The veteran infielder has been working out in Arizona and will join one of Texas' minor-league affiliates in the coming days.
