Adrianza was placed on the paternity list Tuesday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

With a maximum of two games left in the World Series, the move presumably ends Adrianza's season. It won't have much of an impact on Atlanta's plans, as Adrianza has been limited to pinch-hitting duties during the postseason, going 1-for-10 at the plate. Johan Camargo will fill that role in his absence.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in Saturday's World Series Game 4 win over the Astros.

Swanson came to the plate against Cristian Javier with one out and a 2-1 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning. He took an 0-2 fastball over the right-field wall to tie the game, with Jorge Soler repeating the feat one batter later to give Atlanta the lead. Swanson's postseason has been unimpressive overall even after his Game 4 heroics, as he's hitting just .240/.283/.320 in 14 playoff games.

Rojas underwent an MRI on his left index finger Thursday and could require surgery, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rojas signed a two-year, $10 million extension earlier in the week, but the news isn't all positive about the veteran shortstop. It's not yet clear exactly what's wrong with his finger, nor is it clear whether any potential procedure could cause him to miss time at the start of next season.

Rojas agreed Wednesday with the Marlins on a two-year, $10 million contract extension, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

The 32-year-old shortstop's new deal keep him on the Marlins' books through 2023 in what looks to be a relative bargain of a deal. While Rojas' lack of high-end tools renders him rather unexciting from a fantasy perspective, he's proven to be a steady compiler when healthy while offering a high batting-average floor. Over his last three seasons in Miami, Rojas has been a near-league-average hitter with a .277/.334/.398 slash line (99 wRC+). He's also graded out well as a defender in each of those years while serving as a sneaky source of speed (27-for-36 on steal attempts).

Camargo was dropped from the roster ahead of the World Series against the Astros, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Camargo has filled a very limited role in the postseason thus far, going hitless in four at-bats off the bench. Pinch hitters will be needed less frequently with the series partially taking place under American League rules, so while Camargo does provide some defensive flexibility, he's been deemed less useful than pinch-running specialist Terrance Gore.

Bogaerts went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a double and two strikeouts in Tuesday's loss to the Astros in Game 4 of the ALCS.

Bogaerts hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning that gave the Red Sox the lead for most of the game, but the Astros scored eight runs across the final two frames. The 29-year-old has recorded hits in each of the last three contests and has gone 5-for-15 with a homer, two doubles, two RBI, a run and seven strikeouts during that time.

Correa went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-4 win over the Red Sox in Game 1 of the ALCS.

Correa recorded his third multi-hit performance of the postseason in Friday's contest, and he gave the Astros the lead with his solo blast in the bottom of the seventh inning. Across his five playoff appearances this year, the shortstop has gone 8-for-17 with a home run, two doubles, five runs and five RBI.

Adames went 2-for-4 in Game 3 of the NLDS against Atlanta on Monday.

Adames got on base with a pair of singles, but his club was unable to capitalize, as Milwaukee was shut out for the second consecutive contest. He's now 4-for-12 with a double and six strikeouts over the first three games of the NLDS.

Wendle is out of the lineup Monday for the Rays' Game 4 matchup with the Red Sox in the ALDS, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

The lefty-hitting Wendle will retreat to the bench with a southpaw (Eduardo Rodriguez) on the hill for Boston. With Wendle out of the lineup, Yandy Diaz will pick up a start at third base and bat sixth.

Anderson went 3-for-6 with two runs and an RBI in Sunday's 12-6 win over the Astros in Game 3 of the ALDS.

Anderson has done his part to spark the White Sox at the top of the order through the first three games of the series, going 7-for-15 while crossing home four times. Dating back to the regular season, Anderson will carry a nine-game hitting streak into Monday's Game 4.
