Anderson is scheduled to meet with a hand specialist Tuesday, at which point the White Sox could have a better sense of if or when he'll return this season, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Anderson underwent surgery on his left hand Aug. 11 and is now four weeks into what was expected to be a six-week recovery period. His upcoming meeting with a specialist should determine whether that six-week timeline remains in place, and if Anderson receives a positive evaluation, he could be cleared to resume light baseball activities. Elvis Andrus has taken over as the White Sox's everyday shortstop while Anderson has been on the mend from the surgery.

Lopez was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Lopez was recalled Friday to give the Blue Jays another hitter with Teoscar Hernandez away from the team, but he will head back to Buffalo with Hernandez returning to action Sunday.

Fletcher (hand) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Fletcher left Saturday's game after being hit by a pitch on the right hand, and he will get at least one day to recover. Luis Rengifo and Andrew Velazquez will form the Angels' starting middle infield Sunday.

Story went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 17-4 win over the Orioles.

Story accounted for the 17th and final run in Saturday's trouncing of the Orioles when Enrique Hernandez singled him home. Story also knocked in a few runs of his own, plating Xander Bogaerts in the fourth inning and Abraham Almonte in the eighth. His final RBI came on a bases-loaded walk in the ninth that scored Almonte again. The veteran second baseman has improved his batting average from .232 to .240 this month thanks to three multi-hit games and a .313/.371/.531 slash line.

Baez went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and an RBI triple while also scoring two runs in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Baez doubled home Victor Reyes in the third inning, then sent Reyes home again on a triple in the fifth. Baez also reached home on two Harold Castro singles, one in the third and one in the fifth. Baez has started to heat up this month, going hitless in just one of nine games and slashing .353/.389/.529. The veteran shortstop also has a home run, eight RBI and five runs during that span and has raised his season batting average from .223 to .233.

Lindor went 3-for-5 with one double, one homer, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's win over Miami.

Lindor hit a solo homer off lefty reliever Andrew Nardi with two outs in the fifth. This blast ended a 21-game stretch without a home run for the shortstop. The 28-year-old has been better at putting the bat on the ball in his last 11 games with a .310 average and just six strikeouts over 42 at-bats.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, a walk, three runs and three RBI in Saturday's 8-4 victory against the Padres.

Turner scored the Dodgers' first run in the third inning and produced their next three tallies with a bases-clearing double in the fifth. He extended his hitting streak to eight games, during which he's batting .286 with a homer, eight RBI, six runs and two stolen bases. Turner's 94 RBI on the campaign are already a career high, and he ranks fourth in the majors in that category.

Cruz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Cruz is on quite the tear during his seven-game hitting streak. He's gone 14-for-30 (.467) with three homers, eight RBI, five runs scored, two triples and two doubles in that span. The massive surge has him up to a .231/.279/.470 slash line with 14 homers, 43 RBI, 31 runs scored and six stolen bases through 66 contests. The walk he drew Saturday was his first in nine games, and while he's hot at the plate, he still has a 36.2 percent strikeout rate compared to a 6.4 percent walk rate.

Bichette went 3-for-5 with three doubles, one walk, one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 11-7 win over the Rangers.

Bichette recorded two of his three doubles off righty starter Kohei Arihara, one of which drove in a run in the third inning. The 24-year-old has been hitting everything in his last eight games, recording a ridiculous .514 average and 1.171 slugging percentage over his last 35 at-bats entering Saturday. The shortstop also tallied a monstrous 10 extra-base hits during that span, including six home runs and a triple.

Velazquez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

Velazquez's RBI came on a groundout in the second inning. He added a steal after his single in the sixth, which was his third theft in five games. The shortstop has now hit safely in consecutive games since he snapped an 0-for-18 skid that spanned eight contests. For the season, he owns a .194/.236/.296 slash line with 16 steals, eight home runs, 27 RBI and 36 runs scored through 341 plate appearances.
