Berti went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 win over the Nationals.

The veteran utility player is healthy and running again, and Berti's stolen five bases on six attempts over the last nine games. The surge has extended his major-league lead in that category, giving him 37 on the season, and he stands a good chance of being the only player to reach 40 this season -- with 1961 being the last time in MLB history multiple players failed to reach that mark.

Tovar went 2-for-4 with a run scored Friday against the Padres.

Tovar made his big-league debut Friday and hit eighth while playing shortstop. He collected singles in each of his first two plate appearances and also came around to score in the fourth inning. Tovar should continue to have a clear path to playing time with Jose Iglesias (thumb) and Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) both sidelined.

Adrianza (quadriceps) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Adrianza missed the last week and a half due to a left quadriceps strain but will rejoin Atlanta after a minimal stay on the injured list. He's unlikely to see significant playing time as a utility man now that he's healthy.

Mateo went 1-for-2 with two steals in Friday's 6-0 win over Houston.

Mateo swiped second and third base after singling in the sixth inning. He was also caught stealing once and has now stolen an American League-leading 33 bags in 42 attempts. The 27-year-old is slashing .220/.266/.385 with 42 extra-base hits and 57 runs this season. However, Mateo is hitting just .136 (6-for-44) over 15 games since his last multi-hit performance Sept. 3.

Correa isn't starting Friday against the Angels.

Correa is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak in which he's gone 10-for-20 with a double, two RBI and a run, but he'll get a rare day off Friday. Jermaine Palacios is starting at shortstop and batting ninth.

Crawford (lower body) is starting Friday against the Royals.

Crawford didn't play Thursday against Oakland due to some leg/knee issues, but he's starting at shortstop and leading off Friday. Over his last five games, he's gone 4-for-16 with a triple, two runs, two walks and two strikeouts.

Tovar will start at shortstop and bat eighth Friday against the Padres, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The 21-year-old was added to Colorado's active roster Thursday and will make his big-league debut a day later. Tovar posted a .921 OPS with 14 home runs and 17 stolen bases in 71 games between the Double-A and Triple-A levels this season, and he should see regular playing time down the stretch as the Rockies take a look at their top prospect.

Wendle (hamstring) will begin running Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Wendle has been sidelined since Monday due to left hamstring tendinitis, and it's encouraging that he's been cleared to resume running. The 32-year-old is eligible to return Sept. 29, and he hopes to be activated prior to the end of the regular season.

Bogaerts is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the Yankees, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts will get a breather after he went 4-for-15 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored while starting the last four games. Yu Chang will take over at shortstop and bat ninth against New York.

Neto slashed .320/.382/.492 down the stretch for Double-A Rocket City, smashing four home runs and stealing four bases while posting an 8:29 BB:K in 30 games.

His season actually isn't over, as the Trash Pandas are in the playoffs. Neto has continued raking, having ripped two doubles and a homer in the first three postseason games of his professional career. Considering that he's already playing -- and succeeding -- in Double-A in his draft season, it looks like the 21-year-old shortstop is on a fast track to the majors.
