Dodgers' Jacob Amaya: Joins 60-man player pool
Amaya was added to the Dodgers' 60-man player pool Monday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
He will report to the Dodgers' alternate training site at USC after being a non-roster invitee during spring training. Amaya, who turns 22 on Sept. 3, has displayed excellent plate skills in the minors, but he has never posted an ISO higher than .132 in full-season ball. He most recently hit .250/.307/.375 with one home run and one steal in 21 games at High-A.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Drills seventh homer
Seager went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in an 11-3 victory over Colorado on Sunday.
Seager gave the Dodgers an early lead with his solo shot in the first inning. The long ball was the seventh of the season for the shortstop, who is hitting homers this season at nearly the twice the frequency (13.4 AB/HR) as his career average (24.4 AB/HR). Seager's Statcast numbers back up the improvement -- he ranks in the 95th percentile in barrel rate (19.5 percent), the 97th percentile in hard-hit percentage (56.1 percent) and the 96th percentile in average exit velocity (93.9 mph). He also ranks second in MLB with a .780 xSLG.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Not starting Sunday
Edman is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
The 25-year-old operated as the Cardinals' fill-in shortstop over the last couple weeks in place of Paul DeJong, but DeJong makes his return from the COVID-19 injured list Sunday. Edman began the season as the everyday starter at third base and could return to that role with the team nearing full strength.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Back from injured list Sunday
DeJong was activated off the COVID-19 injured list Sunday and is starting at shortstop and batting seventh against the Reds, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
The 27-year-old was previously expected to be activated Monday, but he'll rejoin the team a day early after being sidelined all month following his positive test for COVID-19. DeJong went 4-for-17 with one home run in five games before the Cardinals' outbreak, and he should reclaim the everyday role at shortstop now that he's ready to go.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Records two hits in win
Camargo went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in an 11-2 win over the Phillies on Friday.
Camargo had an RBI double to deep center field which capped off a four-run third inning and then got the fun started again in the fifth with a two-run double that ignited a seven-run inning. His two RBI on the day were his first since Aug. 12 as he continues to struggle at the plate while filling in for the injured Ozzie Albies (wrist) at second base.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Plays hero in return
Rojas went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Friday's win over the Nationals.
In his first at-bat after coming off the COVID-19 injured list, Rojas took Patrick Corbin yard to account for all of the Marlins' runs in a 3-2 victory. The shortstop has had an incredible start to the season despite his long absence from the lineup, going 9-for-14 (.643) with two homers, a steal, five runs and eight RBI.

Nationals' Trea Turner: Swats fifth homer
