Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Breaks out of slump
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Wednesday's win over the Angels.
The shortstop had gone 0-for-28 over the prior six games, but Lindor's bat snapped to life with RBI singles in the third and fourth innings. The slump has left Lindor with a .200/.259/.360 slash line over 18 contests in July, but he's remained productive with three homers, three steals, 14 runs and 14 RBI in that same span.

Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Tallies fifth homer
Tovar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Cardinals.
Tovar led off the eighth inning with a solo home run, his fifth long ball of the season. It's a small sample since he returned from the injured list July 18, but Tovar has at least one hit in four of five games to go along with two homers, four RBI and four runs scored.

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: May be out Friday
Manager Dave Roberts said after Wednesday's win over the Twins that Betts may not be with the team Friday due to personal reasons, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
It hasn't yet been confirmed if Betts will be unavailable for Friday's series opener in Boston, but it's certainly a situation worth monitoring. Miguel Rojas would presumably start at shortstop if the eight-time All-Star is unable to play.

Masyn Winn SS | STL
Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Playing through knee injury
Winn revealed after Tuesday's loss to the Rockies that he received an injection for a nagging knee injury prior to the All-Star break, Fanduel Sports Network Midwest reports.
Winn said of the injection that "I don't really think it did anything" and that his knee is "jacked up right now." However, Winn is receiving daily treatment and plans to continue playing through the issue. It's not clear when exactly Winn's knee began bothering him, but he's 10-for-21 in the first five games of the second half, so it doesn't seem to be greatly hindering him at the plate.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Smacks three hits in loss
Perdomo went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Astros.
Perdomo is 9-for-20 (.450) over five games since the All-Star break, though just one of those knocks, a triple, has gone for extra bases. The shortstop has hit in the bottom third of the order in the first two games of this series versus Houston, though that is due to a pair of left-handed pitchers starting. That trend is likely to continue Wednesday when Brandon Walter is on the mound for the visiting Astros. Perdomo has been a steady bat in the lineup all year with a .275/.375/.420 slash line, 10 home runs, 72 RBI, 55 runs scored and 15 stolen bases across 101 games.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Tallies two hits, stolen base
Swanson went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Royals. He also stole a base.
Chicago ran wild with seven stolen bases in the shutout win, and Swanson chipped in with his eighth of the season in 11 attempts. The shortstop swiped 19 bases last year, and he's been in double digits four times in his MLB career. Swanson also has 16 home runs this season, giving him well-rounded fantasy value from a premium position.

Adames has been scorching hot in July, batting .333 (20-for-60) with six homers, five doubles, 16 RBI and 12 runs scored in 16 games. Across 424 total plate appearances, the 29-year-old is now slashing .230/.312/.405 with 52 RBI and 57 runs scored.

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Remains in leadoff spot Monday
Betts is starting at shortstop and batting leadoff Monday against the Twins.
Betts was placed in the leadoff spot for the first time since June of last season on Sunday against the Brewers and went 1-for-5 with one run scored. Manager Dave Roberts is sticking with Betts atop the order, as the reeling Dodgers look for something to jumpstart the offense. With Betts in the top spot, Shohei Ohtani is again batting second. Betts has underwhelmed during his age-32 campaign, slashing .240/.310/.374 with 11 home runs, 45 RBI, 57 runs scored, six stolen bases and a 36:45 BB:K across 400 plate appearances.

Bogaerts got the scoring started early with a grand slam off MacKenzie Gore in the first inning, marking his first long ball since June 29. The 32-year-old has now hit safely in nine of his past 11 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts along with five runs scored, five RBI and three steals during that stretch.
