Mondesi went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Royals.

The Royals stole five bases in total on the night off Omar Narvaez and the Seattle pitching staff. Mondesi's now slashing .304/.313/.587 through 11 games with a homer, three steals, seven runs and eight RBI, and at least in the early going he's rewarding fantasy GMs who bought into the preseason hype.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the Rays.

Anderson continued to hit, extending his hitting streak to nine games while also stealing a bag for the third straight game. He's stolen four and is well on his way to cracking the 20-steal threshold for a second straight season.

Adames went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, two walks and three runs in a win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Adames lived on the bases throughout the afternoon, extending what has been a torrid stretch with the bat after an extremely sluggish start to his season. Factoring in Tuesday's production, Adames is 7-for-14 with two doubles, an RBI, three walks and six runs over his last four games, a stretch during which he's boosted his average 158 points to .195.

Lindor (ankle/calf) was spotted Wednesday doing some light jogging around the bases, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Lindor is with the Indians for their ongoing road trip but isn't expected to play at any point during it. Even so, the shortstop seems to be making incremental progress in his recovery from a left ankle sprain and right calf strain. He was able to do some light agility drills on the field Tuesday and took another small step forward by getting in some running on the basepaths, though Hoynes notes that Lindor wasn't sprinting at any point during the wokout. At this stage, Lindor still looks to be trending toward a late-April return from the 10-day injured list.

Diaz entered as a pinch runner after Alex Bregman was pulled from Tuesday's game with a hamstring injury.

Diaz stayed in the game and played first base while Yuli Gurriel slid across the diamond to third base. Bregman is still being evaluated. If he's forced to sit out Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Diaz could find himself in the lineup against Yankees left-hander James Paxton.

Wendle (hamstring) won't join the team on its current road trip but is likely to do so during the next homestand that begins next Tuesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Wendle has reportedly been making steady progress in his recovery, with manager Kevin Cash noting Tuesday that the versatile infielder began running on a treadmill Monday and has felt his soreness progressively subside. With a full week before the Rays' next homestand begins, it's conceivable Wendle could be ready for activation as soon as the opening installment of a three-game set against the Orioles that will kick it off.

Gordon went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run scored and a stolen base Tuesday against the Royals.

Gordon continued his strong early-season performance, recording his first three-hit game. The most impactful was a two-run single in the fourth inning, after which he proceeded to steal second base. He now has six stolen bases on the season, and is apparently ready to put his disappointing 2018 campaign behind him.

Anderson extended his hitting streak to eight games and is batting .515 (17-for-33) out of the gate. He was raised in the order to fifth for Tuesday's game and didn't miss a beat.

Manager Terry Francona said Lindor (ankle) hit in the batting cage, fielded groundballs and did some agility work Tuesday, Jordan Horrobin of MLB.com reports.

The battery of activities marks a step forward for Lindor after the shortstop wasn't cleared to run at any point during the past week. The Indians will likely assess Lindor's condition over the next few days before mapping out a minor-league rehab schedule for him. The 25-year-old remains unlikely to make his season debut with the Indians until at least late April.

Anderson will start at shortstop and hit fifth Tuesday against the Rays, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Anderson batted leadoff once and hit second on two occasions over the weekend during Chicago's four-game series with Seattle, but all of those assignments came against left-handed pitchers. He's hit either seventh or eighth in his other starts versus righties this season, but Anderson's hot bat will at least temporarily allow him to unseat Eloy Jimenez as the club's No. 5 batter. Anderson enters the contest with an enormous 1.326 OPS for the campaign, though his .565 BABIP and 3.3 BB% suggest that figure will soon fall precipitously.
