Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with two doubles in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Bogaerts has been seeing the ball well this season and has recorded hits in six of his last seven contests, posting four multi-hit outings during that stretch. The shortstop has yet to go deep this season, but he's hitting a robust .375 with a .894 OPS through his first 43 plate appearances.

Anderson (hamstring) will be in Thursday's lineup against Cleveland, according to manager Tony La Russa, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

This confirms prior reports that Anderson was trending towards a Thursday activation. He was already running at full speed Tuesday and can be plugged into weekend fantasy lineups.

Bichette went 3-for-5 with two solo home runs and a stolen base during Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

The 23-year-old went 0-for-2 with RISP in the series finale, but he launched his second homer of the afternoon to lead off the ninth inning and deliver a walk-off win for Toronto. Bichette extended his hit streak to 11 games Wednesday and is 16-for-45 with four home runs, four doubles, 11 runs, 10 RBI and two stolen bases during that stretch.

Diaz will start at second base and bat second Wednesday against the Tigers, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With the Astros placing five position players on the COVID-19 injured list Wednesday -- including three everyday players in Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman -- Diaz looks poised to handle an everyday role for time being. He'll be directly filling in for Altuve on Wednesday, though Diaz could shift over to third base if Altuve happens to beat Bregman back from the IL. The clear path to playing time in the short term along with the favorable lineup spot could make Diaz a decent speculative pickup in deeper leagues until Houston activates both Altuve and Bregman.

Crawford went 3-for-6 with a run while starting both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

The previously struggling shortstop continued his ascension at the plate with Tuesday's solid day. Crawford had gotten his average up over the Mendoza Line for the first time this season with his first multi-hit effort of the season Sunday, and although all three hits Tuesday were singles and he remains in search of his first extra-base hit of the campaign, his average is now up to a respectable .256.

Anderson (hamstring) ran the bases at full speed Tuesday and is on target to return when eligible Thursday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Anderson has been trending toward a minimum stay on the 10-day injured list, and running full speed is another box checked. Danny Mendick has been filling in at shortstop.

Correa went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-2 loss to Detroit.

Correa's ninth-inning homer was a mild salve on a disappointing offensive performance for the Astros. The blast extended Correa's hitting streak to eight games, during which he's slashed .375/.412/.750 with six extra-base hits and six RBI.

Adames went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 1-0 win over the Rangers.

He took Taylor Hearn deep in the seventh inning to give Tyler Glasnow and the bullpen all the run support they would need. Adames also struck out twice, giving him a shaky 2:9 BB:K over his last seven games, but he's hit both his homers on the season during that stretch while supplying four RBI and three runs.

Anderson (hamstring) is expected to return to the lineup when first eligible Thursday against Cleveland, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Anderson suffered a left hamstring strain in the fourth game of the season. While the injury was serious enough to send him to the injured list, he's recovered well and isn't in line for a lengthy absence. Leury Garcia and Danny Mendick have been filling in for him at shortstop and should remain the primary options there for the next three games.

Crawford went 2-for-4 in Sunday's win over the Twins.

The struggling shortstop's first multi-hit effort of the season pushed his average over the Mendoza Line for the first time as well. Crawford has actually reached safely in seven of his first nine games, but he's yet to notch an extra-base hit and has generated an anemic 14.3 percent hard-hit rate through 34 plate appearances.
