Short (rib) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Short was scratched from Sunday's lineup versus the Mariners with rib soreness, but he's feeling well enough to play a day later. With Short handling shortstop Monday, Mauricio Dubon will slide over to third base for the Astros.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Giants.

The shortstop has unleashed a barrage of two-baggers over the last couple weeks. Bichette has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, slashing .362/.423/.574 over that stretch with seven doubles, a homer, six RBI and seven runs.

Neto went 2-for-6 with one RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Phillies.

Neto got the Angels on the board with an RBI single in the second inning and came around to score in the second, fourth and seventh frames. The shortstop is riding an eight-game hitting streak while hitting safely in 11 of his past 12 contests overall, with the latter stretch including six extra-base hits, five RBI, 16 runs scored and four steals. For the season, he's slashing .281/.328/.488 with 15 home runs, 35 RBI, 65 runs scored and 18 stolen bases across 344 plate appearances.

Short was hit by a pitch during Saturday's contest and will be withheld from Sunday's starting nine after initially being penciled in at shortstop. Mauricio Dubon will cover shortstop for Houston while Shay Whitcomb starts at third base.

Kim went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base Saturday against the Orioles.

Kim has dealt with a few minor injuries since making his season debut July 4, but he's been back in the lineup for Tampa Bay's first two games since the All-Star break. He tallied his second multi-hit performance across eight starts on the campaign and also swiped his second bag in three tries. Kim has been productive with one home run, three RBI and three runs scored across 29 plate appearances.

Wilson went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run against Cleveland in an 8-2 victory Saturday.

Wilson took part in a late Athletics power barrage with a two-run blast in the ninth inning. The rookie phenom wasn't projected to hit for much power coming into the campaign after failing to go deep over 103 plate appearances last year, but he's shown a bit of pop with 10 home runs through 89 contests. Add those to a .327/.369/.461 slash line, 44 RBI, 45 runs and five steals, and Wilson has emerged as a leading contender for AL Rookie of the Year honors.

Henderson went 0-for-3 with an RBI and two stolen bases in a loss to the Rays on Saturday.

Though he didn't get any hits for just the second time in his past eight contests, Henderson still found a way to make an impact in the box score. He drove in Baltimore's first run on a sacrifice fly in the first inning and stole both second and third base after reaching on a fielder's choice in the eighth. Henderson is up to 12 thefts on the campaign, and he has a decent chance of surpassing the career-high mark of 21 stolen bases he established last season.

Meidroth went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Saturday against the Pirates.

Meidroth ended June with a .352 on-base percentage and 10 stolen bases, but he's struggled since the calendar flipped to July. He has gone just 6-for-50 with four walks across 12 games this month, tallying two RBI, two runs scored and only one stolen base. Meidroth did manage to contribute to the White Sox's win Saturday, delivering an RBI single in the sixth inning.

Volpe went 2-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in Saturday's victory over Atlanta.

Volpe put together a standout showing Saturday, delivering the first two-homer game of his young career. He hit a two-run blast off Wander Suero in the fifth inning, then followed with a game-tying solo shot off Dylan Lee in the eighth. It could be the beginning of a much-needed hot streak for the shortstop, who's struggled at the plate this season with a .216/.288/.399 slash line in 97 games. Still, his 37 extra-base hits, 53 RBI and 10 steals offer some redeeming value.

Montgomery went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Pirates on Friday.

Montgomery broke the game open with a two-RBI double in the sixth inning, the first double and second extra-base hit of his career. He has started 10 out of 11 games since being promoted to the majors and is hitting a solid .281 with a 9:6 K:BB in 38 plate appearances. While the start to his big-league career has perhaps gone better than anticipated, it is worth watching his strikeout rate, as he has been punched out five times across his last three starts.
