David Hamilton 3B | MIL
Red Sox's David Hamilton: Moves up in batting order
Hamilton batted second and went 1-for-5 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-3 win over Philadelphia.
Hamilton's good stretch of hitting led to him batting second for the second consecutive game against a right-hander, and the shortstop extended his hit streak to five games. Since mid-May, when manager Alex Cora started giving him regular run in the starting lineup, Hamilton has slashed .341/.378/.553 with 11 extra-base hits, nine RBI, 14 runs and 10 steals over 26 contests.

Dylan Moore 1B | PHI
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Forgettable night in return
Moore went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in his return from paternity leave during an extra-inning loss against the White Sox on Thursday.
Moore had sat out the previous two games while on leave, and he went down on strikes three times against masterful White Sox starter Garrett Crochet before also logging one final punchout when facing reliever Michael Kopech. Since hitting safely in back-to-back games May 25-26, Moore has been mired in a nightmarish slump, going 4-for-42 with a single extra-base hit (a double) and a 38.8 percent strikeout across his last 13 contests.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Twins' Carlos Correa: Remains red hot Thursday
Correa went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run and an additional RBI in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Athletics.
Correa gave the Twins their first lead with a run-scoring single in the third inning and capped the scoring in the contest with a two-run homer to left field in the seventh. The veteran shortstop finished with his sixth multi-hit performance over his past eight contests, and he's slashing a jaw-dropping .545/.568/.758 with two homers, eight runs and nine RBI over that span. The hot stretch has pushed Correa's season slash line to .299/.363/.481, and he has six long balls, 31 RBI and 30 runs through 212 plate appearances.

Gunnar Henderson SS | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Picks up ninth steal
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta.
Henderson has two steals over 12 games in June, and he's gone 16-for-48 (.333) with three home runs and six doubles in that span. The shortstop has hit safely in 14 of his last 15 contests as he continues to provide all-around excellence from the top of the Orioles' lineup. He's at a .273/.372/.592 slash line with 21 home runs, nine steals, 47 RBI and 55 runs scored through 67 games overall.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Rangers' Corey Seager: Likely back Friday
Seager (hamstring) was scratched from Thursday's lineup as a precaution, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
Manager Bruce Bochy disclosed that Seager experienced tightness in his hamstring while warming up for Thursday's game, and it's not a surprise the club played it safe after the shortstop recently missed four games due to a hamstring issue. Bochy also noted that Seager is likely to be back in the lineup Friday against the Mariners.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Rangers' Corey Seager: Scratched from lineup
Seager was scratched from the Rangers' lineup ahead of Thursday's game against the Dodgers for undisclosed reasons, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
Seager returned to the lineup Wednesday after missing four games with a hamstring issue, and it's possible he aggravated that injury while going 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk. Travis Jankowski will step in as Texas' designated hitter, with Josh Smith starting at shortstop.

Max Schuemann LF | NYY
Athletics' Max Schuemann: Getting day off
Schuemann is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Minnesota.
Schuemann wore the golden sombrero in Wednesday's loss to the Padres, so he will be given the day off Thursday to regroup. Aledmys Diaz will draw the start at shortstop.

Leonardo Rivas 3B | SEA
Mariners' Leonardo Rivas: Sent down to Tacoma
The Mariners optioned Rivas to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.
Rivas was brought up from the minors Monday to serve as temporary depth while Dylan Moore was away on paternity leave. Now that Moore has returned, Rivas will head back to Triple-A, where he's slashed .255/.386/.353 across 130 plate appearances.

Dylan Moore 1B | PHI
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Returns from paternity leave
The Mariners reinstated Moore (personal) from the paternity list Thursday.
Moore has been away from the team since Monday to spend time with his family, and he will now return to the Mariners ahead of Thursday's series finale against the White Sox. The 31-year-old has slashed .160/.233/.200 with two RBI and five runs scored since the beginning of June.

Colson Montgomery SS | CHW
White Sox's Colson Montgomery: Struggling to make contact
Montgomery is slashing .222/.335/.370 with seven home runs, four steals and a 28.2 percent strikeout rate in 57 games for Triple-A Charlotte.
At 22 years old, Montgomery is at an appropriate level of the minors, and his performance thus far is backed up by a mediocre 23.2 percent hard-hit rate and a poor 66.7 percent contact rate. The White Sox probably would have promoted Montgomery to the majors earlier this season if he looked ready, but at this point there's little incentive for them to bring him up until late August so that he can preserve his rookie eligibility heading into 2025.
