Bogaerts went 4-for-5 with a double, two-run homer, three RBI and four runs in Saturday's 15-4 blowout victory over the Twins.

We're running out of superlatives for the 23-year-old phenom, who's now slashing an MVP-caliber .358/.405/.529 over 257 at-bats this season. It was the second straight four-hit effort for Bogaerts, who's now tallied five multi-hit outings over nine June contests, and who's hitting .800 (8-for-10) with a double, two homers and seven RBI over the first two games of the series versus the Twins. As one of the linchpins of perhaps the most prolific offense in the majors-- and a proven track record of his own-- there's little reason to doubt Bogaerts' ability to keep up his oustanding pace as the season unfolds.

Lindor is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.

It looks like the 22-year-old is getting a well-deserved day off after starting all but one of the Tribe's first 60 games of the season. Lindor, who is just 2-for-18 in his last five games, will be replaced at shortstop by Jose Ramirez.

Correa tested his ankle Saturday and indicated that "it didn't feel great, but it felt good. Hopefully, I will be back there soon," the Houston Chronicle reports. The Astros haven't ruled out their prized shortstop rejoining the lineup as soon as Sunday, and he may be available to pinch hit Saturday.

Correa additionally hit in an indoor batting cage and fielded some grounders before Saturday's contest, suggesting he's making some significant progress in his recovery. While it's no guarantee he will play Sunday, it's best to consider him day-to-day at the moment.

Correa (ankle) remains out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays.

Marwin Gonzalez will make another start at short in place of Correa, who is still recovering from a sprained left ankle. Correa is listed as day-to-day, so there is hope he'll be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list, but the Astros won't rush him back into the lineup before his ankle is ready for game action.

Anderson went 2-for-3 with a double and a run in his MLB debut Friday.

Anderson batted ninth in his first career game, but his double kicked off the White Sox's first scoring rally. Anderson could continue to hit toward the bottom of the order as he gets his feet wet, but it would not be surprising to see him move to the No. 2 spot if he continues to hit.

Bogaerts went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Boston's 8-1 over Minnesota on Friday. The four-hit night raised his average to .349, tops in the American League.

It was David Ortiz night at Target Field as the Red Sox slugger was feted by his former team prior to the game, but Bogaerts was the star during the game. The one question lingering over the young shortstop following his breakout 2015 season was about his power, but Friday's homer, a no-doubter, gives him seven in 252 at-bats and matches his total from last season (613 at-bats).

The Mariners optioned Sardinas to Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.

Sardinas was removed from the roster to open up a spot for Leonys Martin. He has hit just .190 in 25 games with the Mariners this season, but as a utility player there is a good chance he returns to the big club at some point this summer.

Anderson will start at shortstop and hit ninth in his MLB debut Friday night, Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM reports.

Anderson has a bright future and is set to be Chicago's regular shortstop moving forward, but the White Sox will let him get his feet wet with the bat, and use him out of the final spot in the batting order to begin with. Regardless of where he hits though, Anderson figures to be a threat whenever he gets on base.

Correa (ankle) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa was listed as day-to-day after exiting Thursday's game with his ankle injury, and it turns out the setback will prevent him from taking the field for at least one day. Marwin Gonzalez will get the start at shortstop in Correa's place.

The White Sox recalled Anderson from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Jimmy Rollins struggled to get much going with the bat while serving as the White Sox's primary shortstop, so the team decided to designate him for assignment and call up Anderson -- their top prospect -- on Friday. Given his pedigree, Anderson figures to serve as the White Sox's primary shortstop moving forward, with Tyler Saladino still working in a backup role. Anderson does not bring a lot to the plate in the power department, but he does own a .301 career minor league batting average and stole 49 bags a year ago, so there are several things to like about his game from a fantasy perspective.
