Justin Dunn RP | CHW
Mets' Justin Dunn: Fans 10 in dominant effort at High-A
Dunn didn't factor into the decision for High-A St. Lucie in Monday's extra-inning win over Tampa, scattering two hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings while striking out 10.
The Mets' No. 5 fantasy prospect set season highs in both innings and strikeouts in this one, lowering his ERA to 2.36 in the process. Dunn is likely due for a promotion before the summer is over, as the 22-year-old now sports a 51:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. While the organization will keep a close eye on his workload after he threw only 95.1 innings last year, if he continues his current form at Double-A, he could potentially put himself on the fringes of the big-league rotation picture for 2019.

Hunter Greene SP | CIN
Reds' Hunter Greene: Earns first professional win
Greene picked up his first professional win Sunday for Low-A Dayton, MLB.com's Mike Rosenbaum reports. He gave up one earned run over five innings, striking out eight.
Greene struggled initially for Dayton, and that's reflected in his 6.32 ERA. However, his velocity hasn't diminished and that has translated into a high strikeout rate -- 44 against 15 walks in 31.2 innings. As always, age-to-level (Greene is 18) is important to remember when assessing his performance.

Julio Teheran SP | BAL
Braves' Julio Teheran: Departs early with injury
Teheran exited Monday's tilt against the Padres with an apparent injury, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.
Brian Snitker and the team trainer came out to check on Teheran after he issued a four-pitch walk to begin the fifth, and it was determined that he wouldn't be able to continue. Teheran was lifted after allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two over four innings. The location and severity of the injury remains unknown, so he'll be considered day-to-day until more information is released regarding his status.

Mike Soroka SP | ARI
Braves' Mike Soroka: Unlikely for activation until mid-June
Soroka (shoulder) is expected to make two more minor-league rehab starts and isn't on track to return from the 10-day disabled list until June 16 at the earliest, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Soroka, who was placed on the DL after experiencing right shoulder inflammation following his May 12 start against the Marlins, completed his first rehab outing Friday, tossing 45 pitches in 3.2 perfect innings. Despite that stellar showing, Soroka will still need to build up his stamina in the minors a little more before the Braves are comfortable slotting him back into the big-league rotation. Soroka is scheduled to move his assignment to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday for his second rehab start, with the 20-year-old likely to throw around 60 pitches in the appearance.

Cal Quantrill RP | TEX
Padres' Cal Quantrill: Whiffs season-high 10 batters Sunday
Quantrill tossed seven shutout innings and struck out a season-high 10 batters in Double-A San Antonio's 6-0 win over Springfield on Sunday. He scattered three hits and a walk in the 97-pitch outing.
The 23-year-old lowered his ERA to 4.15 through 12 starts with San Antonio and has given up just two runs in his last three outings, covering 17.2 innings over that span. With the right-hander beginning to turn the corner after a rough start to the Texas League campaign, it's not out of the question for him to receive the call to the big leagues at some point in the second half. Quantrill's above-average changeup and quality fastball give him a chance at developing into a serviceable back-end rotation member for the Padres.

Luis Castillo SP | CHW
Reds' Luis Castillo: Takes second straight loss
Castillo (4-6) got the loss against the Padres on Sunday, giving up four runs on six hits over 4.2 innings, striking out three and walking one as the Reds eventually fell 6-3.
Castillo had seemed to be putting it together of late after a brutal start to the season, but he's now given up four earned in back-to-back outings, bringing his ERA up to 5.64 and WHIP to 1.45 over 67 innings. Overall, that's a disappointing return so far for a player who was touted as a potential breakout candidate after posting a 3.12 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP with 98 strikeouts over 89.1 innings in his first action at the big-league level last season.

Alex Wood RP | ATH
Dodgers' Alex Wood: Allows six earned runs
Wood allowed six earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two across two innings Sunday against the Rockies. He did not factor into the decision.
Wood struggled with both his control and command in this short effort, throwing only 33 of his 61 pitches for strikes while also leaving a fastball up in the zone that Ian Desmond was able to launch for a 459-foot, two-run home run. It was the first time in four assignments that Wood surrendered multiple walks, and he hit a batter with the bases loaded to bring in a run. While some of his struggles can be attributed to Coors Field, Wood has been prone to blowups this season regardless of where the game is taking place, allowing four or more earned runs in four of his 12 starts.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Tagged with loss Sunday
Matz (2-4) surrendered two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven over seven innings as he took the loss Sunday against the Cubs.
Matz gave up both of his runs in the seventh inning, one on a steal of home and the other on a sacrifice fly. He's been solid in his last three appearances, allowing just two runs over 16 innings of work. Despite a 2-4 record, Matz sports a 3.42 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 48 strikeouts over 52.2 innings.

Noah Syndergaard SP | CLE
Mets' Noah Syndergaard: Lined up to start next Sunday
Syndergaard (finger) is expected to return from the 10-day disabled list and make his next start with the Mets on June 10 against the Yankees, Kristie Ackert and Justin Tasch of the New York Daily News reports.
Syndergaard tossed off the slope of a mound Sunday, marking his first throwing activity since he landed on the DL on May 29. With Syndergaard reporting no issues with his strained right index finger during the session, he'll take another step forward Tuesday by facing live hitters. If all goes well, Syndergaard would likely complete one more bullpen session before taking the hill for the final game of the Subway Series.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Takes no-hitter into ninth inning
Wacha (7-1) allowed one hit while walking two and striking out eight across eight scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday against the Pirates.
Wacha was immediately handed a 4-0 lead after a first-inning grand slam by Marcell Ozuna, and he took advantage, holding the Pirates hitless for eight innings. Prior to allowing a single to Colin Moran to lead off the ninth inning, Wacha had put only two runners on base via walks in the fifth inning. He relied heavily on groundballs -- 12 of the 16 balls in play remained on the ground -- and worked effectively in the strike zone with 74 of his 111 pitches going for strikes. After a few shaky efforts early in the season, Wacha has now recorded a quality start in each of his past five, bringing his ERA down to 2.41 through 12 starts.
