Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Out until after All-Star break
Wacha (oblique) will be out until after the All-Star break, Frank Cusumano of KSDK reports.
There was an outside shot that Wacha could return to action prior to the All-Star break, but this report indicates that will not be the case. A firm date for Wacha's return remains uncertain, but his timeline will be updated as he crosses hurdles in the recovery process.

Chris Flexen RP | CHC
Mets' Chris Flexen: Sent to Triple-A
Flexen was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.
Flexen threw an inning out of the Mets' bullpen Sunday, so the team decided to replace him with a fresh arm and add Tyler Bashlor to the relief corps in his place. Flexen has already had two stints with the Mets this season, so there's a good chance he will be back with the big club again at some point this summer.

Ranger Suarez SP | BOS
Phillies' Ranger Suarez: Spins seven scoreless innings
Suarez tossed seven scoreless innings and ceded five hits and a walk while striking out two Sunday for Double-A Reading in its 8-1 win over New Hampshire.
The 22-year-old is making a compelling case for a spot in the Eastern League All-Star Game, as Sunday's outing lowered his season ERA and WHIP to 2.76 and 1.12, respectively, over 75 frames. Suarez doesn't miss bats at a high clip (6.5 K/9), but his solid command and control have made him one of the better young arms in the Philadelphia system. He could be in store for a promotion to the International League at some point in the second half.

Zach Davies SP | WAS
Brewers' Zach Davies: Makes second rehab start
Davies (shoulder) threw 57 pitches over 4.1 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday.
Davies tossed just 31 pitches and 1.2 innings in a rehab start with Colorado Springs on June 19, but he was able to up both numbers his second time out. Davies was expected to make at least three rehab starts before rejoining the Brewers, so look for an update on his status after he takes the ball again later this week.

Eric Lauer SP | LAD
Padres' Eric Lauer: Throws six strong innings
Lauer didn't factor into the decision against the Giants on Sunday, giving up one earned run on five hits over six innings while striking out four and walking one in the Padres' 3-2 extra-innings defeat.
Lauer pitched well in this contest, but a lack of run support and a blown save by Brad Hand sent the Padres to the defeat, and he had to settle for a second straight no-decision. He's been on a nice run of late, as he hasn't given up more than three earned in an outing since May 28. However, his ERA still stands at 5.05, and he has a bloated 1.75 WHIP through 57 innings thanks to a handful of rough outings from earlier in the season -- numbers that still make it hard to trust him as a consistent fantasy option.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Mediocre in second start back
Hill gave up four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five in five innings Sunday against the Mets. He did not factor into the decision.
He was much less effective in his second start off the disabled list than he was in his first start earlier this week, when he tossed six scoreless innings against the Cubs. This inconsistency coupled with his well-documented fragility is why Hill can be a frustrating player in fantasy. His next start will come next weekend at home against the Rockies.

Ben Meyer SP | MIA
Marlins' Ben Meyer: Recalled from Triple-A
Meyer was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Sunday, Craig Mish of Sirius XM reports.
Caleb Smith (shoulder) was placed on the disabled list, and with the Marlins' rotation severely depleted by injuries, Meyer was promoted to provide some length out of the bullpen. Since he had been working as a starter at Triple-A, he will be capable of pitching multiple innings in his appearances out of the MLB bullpen. Meyer had a 4.27 ERA, a 1.27 WHIP and a 42:15 K:BB in 52.2 innings at Triple-A.

German Marquez SP | SD
Rockies' German Marquez: Takes beating from Miami
Marquez (5-8) allowed six runs (five earned) in 3.1 innings Sunday, giving up nine hits and three walks in a 8-5 loss to Miami. He allowed a home run and struck out six.
June can't end fast enough for Marquez, who has now allowed 25 runs (24 earned) in just 25.1 innings this month. His ERA has jumped from 4.21 to 5.53 during this abysmal stretch. Marquez owns a 5-8 record with an 84:35 K:BB in 83 innings this season. He'll try to end June on a good note next Saturday against the Dodgers.
-
Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Strikes out six in loss to D-backs
Williams (6-5) allowed three runs on five hits with no walks across six innings while taking the loss Sunday against the Diamondbacks. He struck out six.
All the real damage to Williams' ledger came on early home runs, which included a two-run shot from David Peralta in the first inning and a solo job from John Ryan Murphy in the second. He cruised the rest of the way and finished with a quality start, but unfortunately the offense could do little against Clay Buchholz and the Arizona bullpen. Williams has pitched well over his last two starts, allowing three earned runs with a 13:2 K:BB across 13 total innings. He'll look to continue his recent form in a favorable matchup next weekend against the Padres.

Drew Rucinski SP | ATH
Marlins' Drew Rucinski: Gets the win Sunday
Rucinski (2-1) allowed three runs in 2.2 innings Sunday, yielding five hits and a walk in a 8-5 win over Colorado. He gave up a home run and struck out one.
Rucinski came in during the second inning after starter Caleb Smith left due to a shoulder injury. It wasn't a great performance by any means, but Miami's offense did enough work to give the 29-year-old a win. Rucinski owns a 4.63 ERA in 11.2 innings this season.
