Buehler (2-0) earned the win Monday against the Diamondbacks after tossing seven scoreless innings, giving up one hit and four walks while fanning seven.

Buehler has fanned at least seven in five straight games, but his numbers across the board haven't been dominant when excluding the strikeouts -- he has given up two or more runs in five of his last six outings. This start was his best performance of the campaign, though, and he will try to repeat this level of dominance when he takes the ball during the upcoming weekend series against the Giants.

Walker (side) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Walker has been dealing with the side issue for the last few weeks, per Mike Puma of the New York Post, and the team believes it's best to examine the issue further. His status moving forward will be dictated by his test results.

Gray (0-3) took the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out two over five innings Monday against the Giants.

Gray surrendered one run in the first inning, followed by two in the fourth on a two-run homer and one in the fifth on a solo blast. Monday marked just the second time this season he's allowed three or more runs in a start, but he's yet to pick up a win on the year. The right-hander owns a 3.86 ERA and 1.45 WHIP with a 39:14 K:BB across 30.1 frames in 2021.

Fried was pulled from Monday's game against the Mets due to cramping in his left hand.

This is positive news for Atlanta, as one of their top hurlers managed to avoid a significant injury. The team will continue to evaluate the lefty over the next few days to determine whether he'll be able to make his next scheduled start. Before departing Monday's start, Fried worked six innings and gave up a run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight.

Webb left Monday's game against the Reds due to shoulder soreness, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports. He picked up the win and allowed six hits and one walk while striking out four over six scoreless innings prior to exiting.

Manager Gabe Kapler mentioned after the game that Webb didn't come back out for the seventh inning due to the shoulder issue. The plan is to get him some treatment, and the team will continue to evaluate him over the next few days. Webb will be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Fried left Monday's game against the Mets due to an undisclosed injury, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. He allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings prior to suffering the injury.

Fried gave up a leadoff double to begin the top of the seventh inning, which led to a visit from Atlanta's team trainer and his removal from the contest. The lefty didn't appear to be in a great deal of pain or discomfort as he exited, but details of the issue have yet to be disclosed.

Walker was cruising along before appearing to be in some kind of discomfort, resulting in his removal. The severity of the injury is not known at this point.

Strasburg (shoulder) will throw approximately 55 pitches in an extended bullpen session Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Strasburg threw 75 pitches in a rehab start for Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, and manager Dave Martinez said that Tuesday's throwing session could help the team determine whether the right-hander will be able to start Friday against the Orioles. Strasburg felt good after his rehab outing Sunday and should take Erick Fedde's place in the rotation once he's cleared to return.

Syndergaard (elbow) will make his first rehab appearance with Low-A St. Lucie on Wednesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Syndergaard has been recovering from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in March of 2020, and the start of his rehab assignment marks a big step in his recovery. The right-hander will likely require several rehab appearances to build back up to a full workload, but he remains on track to return to the major-league roster in mid-June. The team also revealed that Syndergaard will remain at Low-A until the end of May, per Mike Puma of the New York Post.

Lugo (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday.

Lugo has been on the injured list since the start of the season. He was already tracking toward a late-May return, so his shift to the 60-day IL doesn't necessarily mean that he's experienced a setback. The right-hander will now be out until at least early June, and his removal from the 40-man roster will make room for outfielder Johneshwy Fargas, whose contract was selected in a corresponding move. Lugo will begin a rehab assignment with Low-A St. Lucie on Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
