Nola (2-4) allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out 10 across 8.1 innings to earn the win Thursday against Atlanta.

Nola dominated Atlanta and allowed only two extra-base hits -- both to Matt Olson. He also struck out a season-best 10 hitters, backed by 24 called strikes and 15 swinging strikes across 109 total pitches. Nola entered the start having allowed 10 earned runs across his last three starts spanning 17.2 innings, but for the season he has maintained a 3.56 ERA and an elite 74:10 K:BB across 60.2 frames.

Wright (4-3) allowed three earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five across 6.2 innings to take the loss Thursday against the Phillies.

Wright breezed through his entire outing, but the bullpen allowed two inherited runners to score to sour his line. Despite tallying only five strikeouts, Wright managed 15 swinging strikes across 92 total pitches. Wright has now allowed more than three earned runs in only one of his nine starts this season, and he has maintained a 2.68 ERA and 61:18 K:BB across 53.2 frames.

Gibson will no longer start during the Phillies' weekend series against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Gibson was originally slated to start Sunday, but Bailey Falter will start Friday and push the rotation back a day. As a result, Gibson lines up to start Monday against the Giants, though that has not been confirmed by the team. Zach Eflin will start Saturday, with Zack Wheeler following in the series finale.

Falter will start Friday against the Mets, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Falter is currently pitching at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, though he will be called up prior to the team's weekend series. No injury has been announced to a member of the Phillies' rotation, so presumably the Phillies are just pushing everyone back a day. Falter has maintained a 3.75 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB across 12 innings in the majors this season, though that has come primarily out of the bullpen.

Greene (2-6) earned the win Thursday, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings against the Cubs. He struck out six.

Greene gave up a two-run double to Frank Schwindel in the top of the first and a solo home run to Nico Hoerner in the second. However, he was able to settle down and tossed two scoreless innings before giving up back-to-back homers to Willson Contreras and Ian Happ to leadoff the fifth. Regardless, the right-hander was still able to get through the fifth and earned the win thanks to an eight-run outburst from the Reds in the third. The rookie has registered at least six strikeouts in eight of his first nine career starts.

Steele (1-5) took the loss Thursday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and two walks over two innings against the Reds. He struck out two.

Steele gave up a two-run homer to Kyle Farmer in the bottom of the second inning and allowed the first five hitters to reach in the third, which all ended up coming around to score, before being taken out of the game for Scott Effross. After back-to-back stellar outings against the Diamondback, Steele posted his worst outing of the season, causing his ERA to jump from 3.82 to 5.40.

Heaney (shoulder) could face hitters at extended spring training Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Heaney threw three simulated innings Thursday and suffered no setbacks. Sunday would mark the first time that he has faced live hitters since hitting the injured list April 20. While there's no clear timetable for Heaney's return, he appears to be making steady progress.

Gonsolin will start Saturday against Arizona, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gonsolin was originally slated to start Friday, but the Dodgers have opted to give him an extra day of rest. The team has not announced Friday's starter, but Ryan Pepiot appears to be a likely candidate.

Kershaw (pelvis) is throwing from 90 feet, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Kershaw has been throwing for a few days and is gradually increasing his distance. He's likely at least another week away from throwing bullpen sessions, but any progress is positive. A return in late June remains realistic.

Pepiot is with the Dodgers to begin their road trip in Arizona, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The Dodgers haven't yet announced a starter for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks, but Pepiot seems like a strong candidate to take the mound. The right-hander has made two major-league starts this year, and he posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in seven innings prior to being optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City last week.
