Anderson (8-1) took the loss against Colorado on Monday, allowing four runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two over six innings.

Anderson allowed a single run in each of the first and second innings before serving up a two-run homer to Jose Iglesias in the sixth. That was more than enough for Colorado to hand him his first loss of the campaign, as opposing pitcher Chad Kuhl pitched the first individual complete-game shutout against Los Angeles in six years. Despite the loss, Anderson helped his team by completing six innings, thus taking the load off a recently taxed bullpen. The left-hander has fallen back a bit of late, but he still has good numbers on the season, including a 3.23 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 1.5 BB/9 over 78 innings.

Gomber will rejoin the Rockies' rotation during their weekend series against the Diamondbacks, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

The southpaw lost his spot in Colorado's rotation nearly two weeks ago but will reclaim a starting role after Ryan Feltner was sent down Monday. Gomber has posted a 6.55 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 67.1 innings over 14 appearances (12 starts) in the majors this year.

Feltner was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.

Feltner struggled over four starts in June, as he posted an 8.64 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in 16.2 innings during that time. He'll attempt to sort things out in the minors, while Austin Gomber is slated to rejoin the Rockies' rotation this week.

The Mets transferred Megill (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The transaction confirms that Megill will be sidelined for at least two months due to the strained right shoulder he sustained in his July 16 start against the Brewers. When his diagnosis was first announced, the Mets revealed that Megill would be shut down for four weeks before being re-evaluated, and the club is already bracing for the right-hander to need at least another month of ramp-up time even if he's cleared to resume throwing coming out of the All-Star break. Even though Megill has looked dominant at times when healthy this season, his prolonged absence will make it tough to justify holding him in most redraft leagues.

Flaherty was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain Monday.

Flaherty didn't make his season debut until mid-June due to a shoulder injury which first appeared back in mid-March. He made just three short and ineffective starts, posting a 5.63 ERA, 2.12 WHIP and 6:9 K:BB in eight innings, and he'll now head right back to the injured list with renewed shoulder troubles. He'll be eligible to return shortly before the All-Star break, but a minimum-length stay seems unlikely given the way his season has gone thus far.

Dunn (shoulder) struck out one over two innings Sunday in his first rehab start for High-A Dayton. He gave up an earned run on three hits and one walk.

The two-inning appearance was Dunn's first at any level in 2022 after he was placed on the 60-day injured list coming out of spring training with a right shoulder strain. Though the Reds don't have a spot available for him in the big-league rotation at present, Dunn is expected to be built up for a starting role during his 30-day rehab window. He'll likely make at least two or three more starts in the minors before being activated.

The Pirates outrighted Eickhoff to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday after he cleared waivers.

Eickhoff will remain in the organization as a swingman at Indianapolis after he was added to and removed from the Pirates' 40-man roster following one spot start with the big club. In his Pittsburgh debut last Wednesday against the Cubs, Eickhoff was tagged for 10 earned runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out four over 4.1 innings.

The Mets list Carrasco (back) as their starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Astros in New York, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Carrasco's inclusion on the pitching schedule for the two-game set against Houston suggests he was able to throw a bullpen session over the weekend without incident. The right-hander exited his most recent start Wednesday -- also against the Astros, but in Houston -- due to lower-back tightness, but an MRI didn't reveal anything too concerning. Carrasco shouldn't face any major restrictions with his workload when he returns to the mound Tuesday.

Feltner (1-3) took the loss to the Twins on Sunday, allowing five runs on eight hits while striking out two and walking one over four innings.

Feltner threw 51 of 80 pitches across four frames Sunday. He did not allow any home runs, but the Twins were able to play small-ball, picking up three runs on singles, one on a triple and another on a sac fly. In 16.2 innings this month, the righty has allowed 16 earned runs, for an 8.64 ERA. He will take a 6.15 season ERA into his next appearance.

DeSclafani (0-2) gave up seven earned runs on seven hits and a walk over 2.2 innings in a 10-3 loss to the Reds on Sunday. He struck out one and was tagged with the loss.

DeSclafani had another miserable start since coming off the IL due to ankle inflammation, this time being chased after only 53 pitches in what should have been a relatively soft matchup. The veteran right-hander has now given up 12 earned runs in his past two starts to balloon his ERA up to 9.95 over 19 innings. DeSclafani will look to get back on track and recapture some of his success from 2021 in his next expected start Sunday against the White Sox.
