Suarez (6-5) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings, taking the loss Wednesday versus Atlanta.

Suarez allowed a pair of runs apiece in the fourth and seventh innings. That latter surge from Atlanta denied the southpaw a chance for consecutive quality starts, a feat he's achieved once this year. He's now at a 4.33 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 64:33 K:BB through 79 innings overall. Suarez lines up for a favorable home start versus the Nationals next week as he looks to bounce back from this defeat.

Wright (9-4) earned the win Wednesday over the Phillies. He allowed a run on three hits and three walks with four strikeouts over seven innings.

Wright was a bit shaky in his last two starts, but he returned to strong pitching Wednesday. His lone mistake was a solo home run to Rhys Hoskins in the third inning. Wright concludes June with 15 runs allowed in 38.1 innings, good for a 3.52 ERA. For the season, he's posted a 3.03 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 96:30 K:BB through 92 innings overall. He's projected for a home start versus the Cardinals next week.

Marquez was removed during the fourth inning of Wednesday's start versus the Dodgers with an apparent injury, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

The right-hander allowed five runs across 3.1 frames and left the field with the training staff during the fourth inning. The reason for Marquez's exit remains unclear, and he should be considered day-to-day until the team updates his status.

Lauer allowed three runs on six hits and two walks over 4.1 innings during Wednesday's 5-3 win against the Rays. He had three strikeouts and didn't factor in the decision.

Lauer generated only eight swinging strikes on 92 total pitches, and he was pulled during the fifth inning after being unable to maintain a 3-2 lead. The left-hander posted a 2.38 ERA through his first 10 outings of the year, but he's surrendered 20 runs in his past four starts. He tentatively lines up for a matchup with the Cubs early next week.

Wood (5-7) was charged with the loss at home against the Tigers on Wednesday, allowing three runs on seven hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out six and did not issue a walk.

Wood took a lead into the sixth inning, but he gave it up on an Eric Haase two-run homer. Health was seen as the big concern with Wood coming into the season, and now he's becoming a performance risk as well. The lefty has given up 13 runs over his last three starts (12 innings) and has a 5.03 ERA for the season.

Walker allowed four hits and two walks while striking out three across 7.1 scoreless innings Wednesday against the Astros. He did not factor into the decision.

Walker induced 12 groundball outs to keep Houston's bats in check and deliver his third scoreless outing of at least five innings on the season. He's been on a particularly strong run of late, turning in four consecutive quality starts, during which he's allowed only five earned runs across 26 innings. On the campaign, Walker owns a 2.72 ERA with a 52:21 K:BB across 72.2 frames.

Clevinger (2-0) earned the win Wednesday, allowing one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings against the Diamondbacks. He struck out six.

Clevinger turned in a vintage performance in his second start (third appearance) back from the COVID-19 injured list, inducing 14 swinging strikes on 86 pitches. The right-hander made two prior trips to the IL this season before the COVID stint -- first for a knee injury and then a triceps issue. He's been limited to 29 innings so far as a result, after missing all of last year following Tommy John surgery.

Lodolo (back) will rejoin the Reds' rotation Monday or Tuesday against the Mets, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Lodolo made his fourth rehab start Wednesday at Triple-A Louisville and allowed a run on six hits and a walk while striking out five in 4.2 innings. The Reds will have a six-man rotation next week since they have a doubleheader, but manager David Bell declined to reveal the team's rotation plans past that point.

Manager Oliver Marmol said Liberatore will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis to start Saturday's game against the Phillies in Philadelphia, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Liberatore has been optioned back to Memphis immediately after three of his first four big-league starts, but Marmol suggested that the rookie could have some staying power in the rotation during his upcoming stint in St. Louis, according to Katie Woo of The Athletic. With Jack Flaherty (shoulder) moving to the 15-day injured list Monday and Steven Matz (back) unlikely to be ready for a return from the IL until the second week of July, Liberatore should be in store for at least two starts. Liberatore has produced a 4.00 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 6.1 K-BB% across 18 innings through his first four outings.

Liberatore rejoined the Cardinals on Wednesday and is expected to be formally called up from Triple-A Memphis later this week to make a start during the big club's upcoming series in Philadelphia, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

He'll likely be joining the rotation as a replacement for Jack Flaherty (shoulder), who was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday. Liberatore has previously made four starts for St. Louis, covering 18 innings over those outings while churning out a 4.00 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 6.1 K-BB%.
