Wood allowed three unearned runs on four hits and struck out seven in 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.

The Brewers rallied for five runs in the fifth inning, with Wood responsible for three of them, including two runners that Tyler Rogers inherited but couldn't keep from scoring. In his last three starts, Wood has allowed four runs (one earned) in 16.2 innings while racking up 19 strikeouts. He's at a 4.20 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 90:21 K:BB across 90 innings in 18 starts this year.

Greene (3-11) took the loss during Friday's 7-3 defeat at the hands of the Cardinals, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with six strikeouts in five innings.

St. Louis jumped on Greene early with two runs on four baserunners in the first inning, and Greene surrendered additional runs in the second and fourth on limited baserunners. He departed at the conclusion of the fifth with the game at 4-3 but Cincinnati was unable to rally as the 22-year-old is one of three pitchers with double digit losses in the season's first half. The electric rookie concludes the first half with a 5.78 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 113 strikeouts in 18 starts.

Darvish (8-4) earned the win Friday over the Diamondbacks. He allowed three runs on five hits and two walks with nine strikeouts in seven innings.

All three runs against Darvish came via the home run, as Ketel Marte tagged him for a first-inning solo shot and Christian Walker added a two-run blast in the fourth. After allowing six homers through his first 14 starts this year, Darvish has given up five long balls in his last three outings. The right-hander still turned in his 13th quality start of the campaign, and he has a 3.41 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 100:22 K:BB through 108.1 innings overall.

Kershaw (7-2) allowed one hit and struck out six across eight shutout innings, earning the win Friday over the Angels.

The All-Star southpaw showed exactly why he was named to this year's Midsummer Classic with a masterful performance Friday. He carried a perfect game through seven innings before Luis Rengifo led off the eighth with a double, which was the only hit Kershaw allowed in this start. He's been particularly strong in July, allowing just two runs (one earned) in 22.2 innings while racking up 24 strikeouts in his last three starts. Kershaw trimmed his ERA to 2.13 and his WHIP to 0.91 after Friday's start, and he's added a 75:12 K:BB in 71.2 innings across 12 games overall.

Marquez (6-7) earned the win Friday over the Pirates. He allowed two runs on six hits and struck out four in 6.2 innings.

The Pirates had three doubles among their six hits against Marquez, but the right-hander was able to limit the damage well. The Rockies' offense took care of the rest, allowing Marquez to exit with a 7-2 lead that only grew from there. This was his third quality start in his last five outings, and the two that weren't came against the division-leading Dodgers. He's pitched to a 5.47 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 85:37 K:BB across 103.2 innings in 18 starts this season.

Quintana (2-5) took the loss Friday versus the Rockies. He allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings.

Quintana struggled for a second straight start, with the seven hits he allowed matching a season high. The six runs against him were also a season high, though he was able to avoid giving up a home run for the fifth consecutive start. The southpaw now has a 3.99 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 81:29 K:BB through 90.1 innings across 18 starts.

Eflin (knee) threw a successful bullpen recently and will throw an up-down bullpen session Saturday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Eflin had already been ruled out through the All-Star break, but he's made encouraging progress in his recovery over the last few days. If his up-down throwing session goes well, the right-hander is expected to throw a sim game soon. It's not yet clear whether Eflin will be cleared to return for the Phillies' first turn through the rotation following their layoff, but he'll likely be in the mix to return sometime in late July.

Luzardo (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Jupiter on Friday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Luzardo has been out for two months with a strained left forearm. The length of his absence means he'll probably require a fairly long rehab assignment, so it's possible he doesn't return until early August.

Cabrera (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Pensacola on Saturday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Cabrera has been out for a month with right elbow tendinitis. He was originally scheduled to make a rehab start in late June, but that wound up being delayed for a few weeks due to a personal matter. If he requires two rehab starts, he'll likely return to the Marlins during the final week of July.

Suarez (back) is expected to start Saturday's game against the Marlins, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

Suarez landed on the injured list in late June due to a low back spasm, but he threw a bullpen session Sunday and should be able to rejoin the Phillies' rotation without a rehab assignment. The southpaw recorded a 3.77 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 31 innings over his last five starts prior to his absence.
