Keller (shoulder) will start Wednesday at home against Atlanta, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

He exited his start Tuesday with shoulder fatigue, and will end up getting a few extra days of rest while avoiding a stint on the injured list. Keller has a 4.26 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 15:8 K:BB in 25.1 innings over his last five starts.

Wainwright (9-8) earned the win Thursday, allowing three hits over seven scoreless innings against the Rockies. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

The Cardinals scored multiple runs in four of the first five innings, including a five-run third, but Wainwright's pitching effort was as impressive as the team's offensive outburst. The veteran tossed seven scoreless for the fifth time this season and struck out at least seven for the third time in his last five starts. During that stretch, Wainwright is sporting a 2.12 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and a 32:5 K:BB across 34 innings. His next start is tentatively scheduled for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cubs.

Darvish (10-7) took the loss against Washington on Thursday, pitching 8.1 innings and allowing three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out six batters.

Darvish was fantastic through eight frames, yielding only one run (on a third-inning Ildemaro Vargas homer). Darvish kept his pitch count low enough to remain in the contest for the ninth inning, but he was pulled after allowing singles to two of the first three batters he faced. Josh Hader entered from the bullpen and issued a hit-by-pitch, a walk and a sacrifice fly, allowing both inherited runners to score. Darvish thus picked up his third straight loss, though he has pitched relatively well during that stretch with a 3.98 ERA and 20:1 K:BB over 20.1 innings.

Heaney (1-1) allowed five runs (three earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out 10 to take the loss Thursday against the Brewers.

Heaney had a mixed performance. He struck out double-digit batters for the second time in a start this season, and he backed that with 19 swinging strikes across 89 total pitches. However, the lefty also served up three home runs despite entering the contest having given up only one long ball across 31 innings for the campaign. Overall he owns a 1.77 ERA and 52:11 K:BB across 35.2 frames this year.

DeGrom (2-1) took the loss against Atlanta on Thursday, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out nine batters over 6.2 innings.

In many ways, deGrom was his usual dominant self in the outing -- he racked up 20 swinging strikes and fanned nine batters while giving up just five hits. However, the right-hander surrendered a pair of runs in the third inning, and an infield single by the final batter he faced in the contest (Vaughn Grissom) came back to bite him when Michael Harris II followed with a run-scoring double off reliever Seth Lugo. DeGrom ended up being charged with a season-high three runs, but the loss does nothing to lessen his status as one of fantasy's premier matchup-proof starters.

Burnes (9-5) allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six across 5.2 innings to earn the win Thursday against the Dodgers.

Burnes held the potent Dodgers lineup scoreless through five innings. However, he allowed the first three batters he faced in the sixth inning to reach base and ultimately surrendered a two-out, two-RBI triple to Gavin Lux to end his outing. Though Burnes has failed to work at least six innings in three of his last six starts, he's still maintained a 3.60 ERA with a 43:11 K:BB in that span. For the season, Burnes has a 2.48 ERA with 187 strikeouts across 148.2 frames.

Fried (11-4) earned the win over the Mets on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out six batters over seven innings.

Fried was reinstated from the 7-day injured list earlier in the day and was given the difficult task of matching up with Mets ace Jacob deGrom. Fried got the better of his counterpart, logging his fifth straight quality start to earn his 11th victory of the campaign. The left-hander did see an end to his streak of 10 straight outings without allowing a long ball, but Mark Canha's two-run homer in the fifth inning was the only damage the Mets could manage on the scoreboard. The victory was Fried's first in four starts since the All-Star break, though he still has a 2.42 ERA during that stretch.

Brubaker (3-10) earned the victory Thursday over Boston, striking out seven in seven scoreless innings while allowing two hits and hitting one batter.

Brubaker was dominant as he scattered two singles and the hit batsman, with only one baserunner making it past first base. He efficiently carved up the Red Sox's lineup but was pulled after just 84 pitches after he developed a blister, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Over his last 10 starts, the 28-year-old is 3-3 with a 3.83 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, three homers allowed and a 59:18 K:BB in 56.1 innings. Assuming he can overcome the blister issue, Brubaker tentatively lines up to start Wednesday against Atlanta.

The Marlins are planning on having Rogers (back) make a third rehab start this weekend at Triple-A Jacksonville, MLB.com reports.

Rogers built up to 76 pitches in his second rehab start Sunday with Double-A Pensacola, but he wasn't as sharp as the Marlins probably hoped. While covering 4.2 innings for Pensacola, Rogers struck out six and allowed five earned runs on seven hits and zero walks. If Rogers fares better in his upcoming start with Jacksonville, he should be cleared to rejoin the Marlins later next week. He could be part of a six-man rotation, as Edward Cabrera and Braxton Garrett have both pitched well enough of late to hold on to starting roles.

Miley (shoulder) struck out two and allowed one unearned run on two hits and one walk across five innings Tuesday in his rehab start for Triple-A Iowa.

Miley built up to 75 pitches in the start, the fourth and likely final outing of his rehab assignment. Assuming he checks out fine once re-evaluated in Chicago later this week, Miley should come off the 15-day injured list as soon as Sunday. Three separate stints on the IL have limited Miley to just four starts at the big-league level during his first season with the Cubs.
