Lodolo's next start has been pushed back from Thursday to Saturday due to left calf soreness, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Lodolo will get a couple extra days of rest -- and treatment for the calf issue -- after struggling in his last turn through the Reds' rotation Saturday against the White Sox. He's now set to face the Marlins instead of the Mets with this alteration. Ben Lively, called up from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, seems likely to start in Lodolo's place Thursday versus New York.

Pepiot (oblique) threw live batting practice Tuesday at the Dodgers' spring training complex in Arizona, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

It's a significant step in the right direction for Pepiot, who has been out all season after suffering a left oblique strain while making his final Cactus League appearance. He's currently on the 60-day injured list but will seemingly be ready for activation around the time he's first eligible in late May.

Grove (groin) threw live batting practice Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Grove has been working out at the Dodgers' spring training complex in Arizona and might soon be cleared to embark on a minor-league rehab assignment. Sidelined since April 21 due to a right groin strain, the 26-year-old should be ready again for major-league action before the end of May.

Painter (elbow) began throwing long toss Tuesday from a distance of 120 feet, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Painter continues to make steady progress in his recovery from a spring UCL sprain and would seem to be nearing a return to mound work. There's no exact timetable for when he might be cleared to pitch in live games, but it remains quite possible that the 20-year-old right-hander could make his MLB debut at some point in 2023. He'll likely first spend a good chunk of time at Double-A Reading and then Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Suarez (elbow) is set to make his season debut this weekend at Coors Field, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Suarez threw only 48 pitches in his third and final rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, but he managed to cover five innings of one-run ball while showing promising efficiency. He's expected to be limited to around 75 pitches in his return to the Phillies' rotation and is probably more of a wait-and-see option in fantasy given the location of that first matchup. He would probably line up to pitch at San Francisco in his second outing of the year for the reigning NL champs.

Peterson was called up from Triple-A Syracuse and will start Tuesday versus the Reds, Pat Ragazzo of SI.com reports.

With Max Scherzer (neck) being scratched from his start Tuesday, Peterson will return to the big-league mound. Peterson has struggled to a 7.34 ERA and 1.57 WHIP with 36 strikeouts over 30.2 innings in six starts with New York this season. In a corresponding move that made room for the left-hander on the major-league roster, Jimmy Yacabonis (quad) was placed on the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

The Reds selected Lively's contract from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

Lively will join the big-league roster after being assigned to the minors in early March. The right-hander has produced an impressive 2.33 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 16 strikeouts over 27 innings in five appearances, including four starts, with Louisville in 2023. With Luis Cessa being designated for assignment Tuesday, Lively could step right in Cincinnati's starting rotation.

The Pirates recalled Ortiz from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Ortiz will start for Pittsburgh against the visiting Rockies and might get an extended run in the rotation if things go well. The 24-year-old had registered a promising 2.23 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 29:11 K:BB through 32.1 innings (seven starts) this season at the Triple-A level.

Ritchie left his most recent start for Single-A Augusta with an apparent injury, Garrett Spain of Battery Power reports.

He faced the minimum while striking out six through three innings in his May 6 start against Kannapolis, but he suffered an apparent injury on a pitch in the fourth inning and then missed badly on two pitches before calling for the catcher to come visit. The manager and trainer came out as well and Ritchie left with an undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-2 righty boasts a 25:3 K:BB in 13.1 innings while going around three innings per start for the GreenJackets.

Lin has a 3.27 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 17 strikeouts in 11 innings over his last three starts for High-A Hillsboro.

The 19-year-old undersized southpaw boasts a phenomenal changeup that has proved too much for most of the hitters he has faced lately. His first start of the season on April 15, in which he gave up three earned runs while walking two and only getting four outs, is dragging down his season numbers. Lin's 54.2 percent groundball rate is also a stellar mark, and it's worth noting the Taiwanese hurler is the second-youngest pitcher at High-A behind San Diego's Victor Lizarraga.
