Snell did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings against the Dodgers. He struck out four.

Snell is now starting to turn a corner after a rough start to the year. The southpaw has just a 3.50 ERA in the month of May, and this was just his second start of the year where he did not allow a home run. Fantasy managers can start to feel a bit more confident in him heading into his next tentative start against the Royals.

Nelson did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over 4.2 innings against San Francisco. He struck out four.

Nelson was lucky to get run support in this one, as his performance left a lot to be desired. The right-hander has now allowed multiple runs in seven of eight outing this year. The 25-year-old has a 6.20 ERA to start off the season, but he does not appear to be in immediate danger of losing his rotation spot.

Gore didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Mets, allowing five hits and two walks over four scoreless innings. He struck out three.

The southpaw's early exit was due entirely to a high pitch count, as he needed 96 pitches (58 strikes) to record only 12 outs and found himself in numerous full counts despite starting 13 of the 19 batters he faced with a first-pitch strike. Gore is far from a finished product yet, but his first full season in the Nationals' rotation has gone pretty well so far. The 24-year-old will take a 3.29 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 51:21 K:BB through 41 innings into his next start, which is likely to come next week in Miami.

Megill (4-2) picked up the win in Friday's 3-2 victory over the Nationals, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander was far from efficient, throwing only 53 of 93 pitches for strikes, and when Megill left the mound for good after the bottom of the fifth inning, the Mets were staring at a 2-0 deficit. The team's moribund offense put three runs on the board in the top of the sixth, however, while Megill was still the pitcher of record. The 27-year-old continues to fight the strike zone and has issued at least three walks in five of his last six outings, posting a 4.91 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 21:18 K:BB through 29.1 innings over that stretch. Despite those struggles, it's not clear whether Megill or Joey Lucchesi will get bumped from the rotation when Carlos Carrasco (elbow) returns from the IL.

Stoudt was scratched from his scheduled start Friday at Triple-A Louisville and could be recalled to make a spot start for the Reds on Saturday in Miami, Jim Day of Bally Sports Cincinnati reports.

According to Day, Stoudt was scratched Friday after it became apparent that Reds starter Nick Lodolo wouldn't be ready to take the hill Saturday for his turn through the rotation while he continues to deal with lingering calf/ankle soreness. Due to Stoudt's late scratch Friday along with the fact that Saturday's game in Miami begins at 1:10 p.m. ET, it's not immediately clear if he'll be able to secure travel arrangements and arrive at LoanDepot Park with enough time to complete a warmup. If Stoudt isn't formally activated for the start, the Reds could choose to treat Saturday's game as a bullpen day. Stoudt previously made his big-league debut back on April 19 versus the Rays, working four innings while allowing seven earned runs on nine hits and a walk.

Lodolo has been scratched from his scheduled start Saturday in Miami and will return to Cincinnati to receive further evaluation of his lingering ankle/calf injury, Jim Day of Bally Sports Cincinnati reports.

According to Day, Lodolo's injury has bothered him off and on since spring training and initially resulted in the Reds pushing his start back from Thursday to Saturday. With Lodolo continuing to experience discomfort despite getting an extra two days of rest, he'll now get a checkup as the Reds look to glean more information on the extent of the injury. Levi Stoudt was scratched from his scheduled start at Triple-A Louisville on Friday and is en route to Miami, so he would presumably be in line to make a spot start in place of Lodolo on Saturday if he arrives at the ballpark with enough time to warm up prior to the game's 1:10 p.m. ET start time.

Oviedo did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing one run on four hits and five walks over five innings in a 6-3 loss to the Orioles. He struck out three.

Oviedo struggled with his command and control Friday, walking a season-high five batters, and things could've gone much worse. The right-hander limited the damage and was charged with just one earned run after he'd given up 17 runs over his prior three appearances. He'll look to build off his solid start next time out, which is tentatively scheduled to come during a three-game weekend set versus Arizona.

Perez did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings during a 7-4 loss to Cincinnati. He struck out seven.

Perez made the jump from Double-A Pensacola to make his MLB debut Friday, and despite taking a no-decision, he impressed with his stuff and gave Miami a chance to win the game. Both of the runs he allowed came via solo home runs, but he kept the bases clean for the most part and half of the rookie's outs were strikeouts. The 20-year-old presumably did enough to earn another start at the big-league level, which is tentatively scheduled for a three-game set versus Washington next week.

Ashcraft did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings during a 7-4 win over the Marlins. He struck out three.

Ashcraft tossed three scoreless innings to start the game but allowed at least one run in each of his final three frames and was pulled in the sixth after allowing back-to-back two-out hits, including a solo home run to Peyton Burdick. It was a solid bounce-back outing for Ashcraft, who gave up eight runs in his previous start and was forced to leave the game in the second inning after being struck in the leg by a comebacker. Despite the terrible performance versus the White Sox, Ashcraft still boasts modest numbers (3.95 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 33:20 K:BB) across his first eight starts (43.1 innings).

Wood will start Monday's game versus the Phillies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wood returned from a hamstring injury Friday and allowed a run on three hits and a walk with one strikeout in one inning. Manager Gabe Kapler revealed Wood was only available for one inning due to an adjustment in the Giants' pitching plans for next week. With Friday's 31-pitch outing serving essentially as an in-game bullpen session between starts, the southpaw may remain on a pitch count for Monday's game. He threw just 46 pitches over 3.2 innings in his lone rehab appearance last Sunday with Triple-A Sacramento.
