Hill (4-5) allowed six runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Giants.

Hill was cursed by a disastrous second inning in which he gave up five runs. He allowed a home run for the first time since May 5 and saw his ERA jump to 4.76 through 58.2 frames. Hill has been charged with at least four runs in three of his last five starts, including 11 total runs in his last two appearances. He's currently lined up for a weekend start at home against the Cardinals.

Stone is expected to be replaced in the Dodgers' rotation by Michael Grove (groin), Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Stone has been blasted for 17 runs (16 earned) over 10 innings covering three starts with the Dodgers, most recently getting walloped for seven runs on 10 hits while recording just six outs Sunday versus the Rays. While Stone still appears to have the much brighter future than Grove, it's not a surprise to hear that the latter will be given the next turn in the Dodgers' rotation. Stone, for what it's worth, was still in the big-league clubhouse Monday, although he'll surely be sent back to Triple-A Oklahoma City to start rather than be sent to the Dodgers' bullpen.

Grove (groin) is expected to take Gavin Stone's spot in the Dodgers' rotation this weekend versus the Yankees, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Working his way back from a groin strain, Grove has looked sharp in both of his rehab outings as Stone struggles mightily with the big club. Grove posted an 8.44 ERA in four starts for the Dodgers earlier this season before getting hurt and isn't a terribly appealing fantasy option.

Wainwright (2-1) took the loss Monday, allowing three runs on nine hits and two walks over five innings during a 7-0 defeat to the Royals. He struck out six.

Wainwright completed five innings for a fifth straight start to begin his 2023 campaign and struck out a season-high six, but he suffered his first loss as St. Louis' offense was blanked by Kansas City's pitching staff. The veteran has allowed multiple runs in each of his appearances since being activated off the injured list and sports an ugly 6.15 ERA with a 1.71 WHIP and 16:8 K:BB across 26.1 innings. Given his history with the organization, Wainwright's spot in the rotation is probably safe, at least for a little longer.

Urias (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday, MLB.com reports.

The Dodgers initially planned to have Urias throw a side session this past Saturday, but those plans were scrapped after he felt some discomfort while playing catch Friday. Urias was fortunate to avoid any sort of extended shutdown, however, and assuming he doesn't have any renewed pain in his left hamstring while stepping back on the mound Monday, he could be cleared to face hitters by the end of the week. Urias is unlikely to return from the 15-day injured list during this weekend's series with the Yankees, but could be an option for the Los Angeles rotation the following week if he avoids any further setbacks.

The Cardinals will no longer use a six-man rotation, with the fifth spot coming down to Liberatore or Steven Matz, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

The Cards shifted to a six-man rotation during a stretch of 19 games in 19 days, but they have back-to-back off days this week which will allow them to restructure the rotation again. Matz will be available in relief Monday and Tuesday, with Liberatore's potential availability out of the bullpen yet to be determined. Things certainly appear to be pointing toward Matz being moved to the bullpen for a while and Liberatore getting the fifth spot, but the team has not yet committed to that setup.

Miller is slated to start Monday's game against the Nationals, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Miller will get another opportunity to prove he's deserving of a longer-term stay in the Los Angeles rotation after he performed well in his MLB debut in Atlanta last Tuesday, when he struck out five and gave up one run on four hits and one walk over five innings in a winning effort. With Gavin Stone surrendering seven earned runs in Sunday's loss to the Rays and now sporting a 14.40 ERA through his first three big-league starts, Miller doesn't have a high bar to clear Monday as he looks to stake a claim to a back-end rotation spot. Michael Grove (groin) appears poised to return from the 15-day injured list during the upcoming weekend, and he'll presumably replace one of Stone or Miller in the rotation.

The Rockies transferred Feltner (head) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Colorado still hasn't offered a concrete timeline for Feltner's return to game action, but his move to the 60-day IL ensures that he won't be available for the big club until after the All-Star break while he recovers from the small head fracture and concussion he sustained when he was struck by a comebacker in a May 13 start versus the Phillies. The transaction clears up a spot on the 40-man roster for left-hander Ryan Rolison (shoulder), who was reinstated from the 60-day IL and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Cobb (4-2) took the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and four walks over four innings during a 7-5 defeat to the Brewers. He struck out five.

Cobb walked multiple batters for the fourth time over his past five starts and surrendered a season-high seven runs. Coming into the contest, the right-hander had been excellent, sporting a 2.17 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 52:14 K:BB across 10 appearances (58 innings), so it's safe to chalk Sunday's outing up as an outlier. The 35-year-old's role in the Giants rotation is solidified as long as he's healthy, and his next start is tentatively scheduled during a three-game weekend set versus Baltimore.

Rea (2-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing four runs on five hits over six innings during a 7-5 victory over San Francisco. He struck out six and did not issue a walk.

Rea wasn't as sharp as his previous start, but he still tied his season high with six innings and recorded six strikeouts, his most since April 30. The 32-year-old sports modest numbers (4.75 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB) across eight starts (41.2 innings), but given the litany of injuries to Milwaukee's rotation, Rea figures to have a relatively stable role moving forward. His next start is tentatively scheduled during a four-game set in Cincinnati.
