Wicks (4-1) got the win over the Rockies on Sunday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings.

Wicks was able to bounce back from his first rough outing of the year with his third quality start in six tries. He surrendered a two-run blast to Brendan Rodgers in the third and then Nolan Jones got to him with a solo shot in the sixth to extend the Rockies' lead to 3-1. The Cubs were able to respond with three runs in the sixth to take the lead and put Wicks in line for the win. The 23-year-old has been fantastic at preventing hard contact and had only allowed one home run prior to Sunday's outing. Wicks now owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 23:10 K:BB in 33 innings and lines up to make one more regular season start against the Brewers.

Lynn allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision against the Giants on Sunday.

This was Lynn's third straight win and his second quality start in his last five outings. He limited the damage to a two-run home run by LaMonte Wade in the fifth inning. Lynn is at a 5.83 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 187:63 K:BB through 177.2 innings over 31 starts between the Dodgers and the White Sox this year. He's projected for a road rematch with the Giants to finish his regular season, and he'll likely be in the Dodgers' postseason rotation.

Adon (2-4) took the loss in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus Atlanta, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Adon's struggles with free passes again popped up -- he's walked 15 batters over 18.2 innings across his last four appearances. Atlanta did all of its damage against Adon in the fourth inning, with a four-run rally capped by Kevin Pillar's two-run home run. Adon is now at a 6.42 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 43:22 K:BB through 47.2 innings across 11 appearances (nine starts) this season. He's tentatively lined up to make his last start of the campaign in Atlanta next weekend.

Butto (1-3) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks over four innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Butto's outing was derailed by a four-run fourth inning that included a two-run homer by Nick Castellanos. Butto had allowed just four runs over his previous three starts covering 17.1 innings, and Sunday's outing was his first time giving up more than three runs. His ERA jumped to 3.75 alongside a 34:21 K:BB through 36 frames. Butto is currently lined up to end his 2023 season with a home start against the Phillies.

Strider (19-5) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings to earn the win in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Nationals.

Strider picked up his fourth win when allowing four or more runs this year. Despite not having his best stuff, he's now won three stars in a row, allowing eight runs over 19.2 innings with a 24:3 K:BB in that span. The Atlanta ace has a 3.81 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 274:55 K:BB through 181.2 innings over 31 starts this season. He should get a chance to be the only 20-win starter in MLB this year with one more projected start in the regular season, tentatively lined up to be at home against the Nationals.

Sanchez (3-5) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out 10 and earning a win over the Mets.

Sanchez kept the Mets off the board until Ronny Mauricio belted a two-run shot in the sixth inning. Sanchez forced 20 whiffs for the second time this month; prior to racking up 21 swinging strikes against Atlanta on Sept. 13, his season high was just 12. He's been shaky since the start of August, posting a 4.24 ERA in nine starts, but he's recorded a strong 54:8 K:BB during that stretch. Sanchez will carry a 3.48 ERA into his next start, which is currently lined up to be on the road against the Mets.

Lorenzen struck out one batter in a perfect inning and earned a save against the Mets on Sunday.

Lorenzen was blasted for four runs while recording just one out in his first appearance out of the bullpen Sept. 19 but rebounded with his first save since 2021 on Sunday. He posted an ugly 7.96 ERA over his last five starts before being shifted to the bullpen. It's unclear exactly what role the Phillies intend to use Lorenzen in moving forward and in the postseason. He owns a 4.26 ERA through 150 innings and a 5.89 ERA in 44.1 frames with Philadelphia.

Wacha (13-4) yielded two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out six and picking up a win over St. Louis.

Wacha rolled through six shutout frames before the Cardinals finally broke through with two runs in the seventh inning. The Padres had already provided 12 runs of support before then. Wacha earned his second straight win and lowered his season ERA to 3.39 across 127.1 frames. However, he owns a 5.54 ERA in five September outings. Wacha is projected to close out his 2023 season with a road start against the White Sox.

Rom (1-4) allowed eight runs (six earned) on 11 hits and a walk over 3.1 innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against San Diego.

Rom served up a three-run shot to Juan Soto in the first frame and allowed at least one run in each inning he appeared in. After his first career scoreless start, Rom has been tagged with 11 earned runs in just 6.2 innings over his last two outings. His ERA has shot up to 7.98 through 29.1 MLB frames. Rom is currently lined up to finish his 2023 campaign with a home matchup against the Reds.

Cabrera (7-7) earned the win Sunday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out five.

After struggling in a recent outing against the Brewers on Sept. 12 in which he allowed six walks, Cabrera displayed much better control and was able to secure the win Sunday. Since being recalled Sept. 6, the 25-year-old pitcher has a 1.89 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB in 19 innings over four starts. He has allowed two or fewer walks in three of those four outings. Cabrera's last start of the season is currently scheduled to be on the road against Pittsburgh.
