Hudson (1-7) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Giants.

Hudson had a good start going until the fifth inning, as the Giants found success against him the third time through the order. Hudson has completed six innings just twice in nine starts, and he's failed to complete five frames in three of his last five outings. The right-hander has a poor 5.89 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 26:27 K:BB over 44.1 innings this season. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Phillies, which could be a recipe for disaster.

Hicks (4-1) allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out one over five innings to earn the win Sunday over the Rockies.

Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports Hicks threw up his pregame meal. The right-hander also experienced diminished velocity -- all of his pitches were down between 2.4 and 3.6 mph from his season averages in Sunday's start, so it's obvious he wasn't at full strength. He still landed 49 of 72 pitches for strikes and gave up just a first-inning home run to Ryan McMahon, while the Giants' bullpen picked him up with four hitless innings. Hicks has gone past five innings in just three of his 10 starts this year, but he's done well with a 2.38 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 40:17 K:BB over 53 innings. It's not odd that the Giants may be managing his innings carefully since he's never exceeded 77.2 innings in a major-league campaign. There's no reason to worry about Hicks missing his next projected start -- on the road versus the Mets -- at this time.

Rea (3-2) allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks over 4.1 innings Sunday, striking out five and taking the loss against the Astros.

Rea received a rude welcome with a four-run first inning by the Astros. He then managed to keep them in check until yielding another run in the fifth. Over his last three starts, Rea has registered a 7.20 ERA and has failed to complete five innings in two of those outings. The rough stretch has pushed his ERA from 2.67 to 4.07 through 48.2 frames. Rea has been tagged with a loss in two straight starts after beginning the year 3-0. His next start is expected to be in Boston next weekend.

Williams didn't factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against Philadelphia. He struck out three.

Williams was pulled at 97 pitches midway through the fourth but was able to keep one of baseball's best offenses in check. He yielded just one extra-base hit and the final run charged against him came after his departure, when Jacob Barnes allowed a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly to the first three batters he faced. After posting a 5.55 ERA last season, Williams boasts a 2.35 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 46.0 innings with a 4-0 record. He's scheduled to face the Mariners during a three-game home series next weekend.

Nola (6-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

Nola completed at least seven innings for the fifth time in his last seven starts -- including a complete game shutout in his last appearance. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth. Nola hadn't yielded a homer in three straight starts before Sunday. He's lined up for a trip to Coors Field for a start Saturday.

Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season. Keller is projected for a tough home start versus Atlanta in his next outing.

Walker (toe) is expected to be ready to make his next scheduled start Wednesday at home versus the Rangers, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Walker suffered a toe injury in his last start Thursday versus the Mets, exiting the contest in the fourth inning, but he now appears ready to go for his next outing. The right-hander has produced a 4.91 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with 16 strikeouts over 22 innings in four starts this season. Prior to getting hurt, he had logged back-to-back quality starts, and he'll look to get back on track against Texas.

Taillon (3-2) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Pirates.

Taillon was a bit inefficient, throwing 55 of 92 pitches for strikes. This was the second start in a row where he failed to complete five innings, and it's the third time in a row he's walked multiple batters. The right-hander is now at a 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through 32.2 innings over six starts, though his strong April has given way to a shakier May following a bout with back stiffness. Taillon is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in St. Louis.

Kershaw (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on the field at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Kershaw has thrown multiple bullpens in recent weeks, though this was the first one that took place on the field. The left-hander is building back up slowly from offseason shoulder surgery and isn't expected to be ready to join Los Angeles until at least mid-July. When Kershaw does return, it's unclear how the Dodgers will adjust their rotation given that back-end starters James Paxton and Gavin Stone have both been pitching relatively well.

Knack was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and is starting Sunday against the Reds.

The right-hander spent nearly the past three weeks in the minors but will rejoin the Dodgers for Sunday's series finale. Knack has a 2.81 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 11:5 K:BB across 16 innings through three big-league starts this season, and he could be headed back to Triple-A after the contest.
