  • Will Warren SP | NYY

Yankees' Will Warren: Strikes out five in no-decision

Warren did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's loss to the Guardians. He allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over five-plus innings while striking out five.

Warren cruised through five shutout frames with little threat from Cleveland's lineup. He allowed two singles to begin the sixth inning and was charged with both runs after leaving the contest. Warren has completed five innings in three of his five starts this season but has yet to go deep enough to produce a quality start. He dropped his ERA to 4.79 with a 21:10 K:BB through 20.2 innings. Warren is currently expected to start in Baltimore next week.

  • Tanner Bibee SP | CLE

Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Earns second win

Bibee (2-2) allowed two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings Tuesday, striking out five and earning a win over the Yankees.

Bibee was taken deep by Ben Rice on the first pitch of the game, but the Yankees didn't plate another run until Jazz Chisholm's sacrifice fly in the sixth inning. Bibee picked up his first win since his season debut March 30; he was 0-2 with an 8.16 ERA in three starts between wins. The 26-year-old threw 70 of 106 pitches for strikes but forced only four whiffs. Bibee now owns a 5.19 ERA with a 20:14 K:BB through 26 innings. He's projected to face the Twins at home next week.

  • Chris Bassitt SP | BAL

Blue Jays' Chris Bassitt: Stumbles for first time this season

Bassitt (2-1) took the loss against the Astros on Tuesday after allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

Although Bassitt had allowed just two runs through his first four starts of the year, it was a struggle for him Tuesday. The veteran right-hander matched a season low with three punchouts, and most of the damage was done during a three-run first inning by the Astros. Bassitt still sports a 1.88 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a sparkling 34:6 K:BB over 28.2 frames ahead of a tough matchup at home against Boston in his next scheduled outing. However, the righty does have a strong 2.27 ERA and 35:18 K:BB in seven appearances (43.2 innings) versus the Red Sox as a member of the Blue Jays since 2023.

  • Bryce Miller SP | SEA

Mariners' Bryce Miller: Gives up four runs in loss

Miler (1-3) took the loss against Boston on Tuesday. He allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings.

Miller particularly had trouble facing off against Alex Bregman, with the third baseman responsible for driving in three of the four runs Miller gave up in Tuesday's contest. Miller wasn't able to make it out of the fifth inning despite tossing 100 pitches (59 strikes) and has yet to complete six frames through five starts. He's up to a 4.21 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 25.2 innings this year and in line to make his next start against the Marlins at home this weekend.

  • Ronel Blanco RP | HOU

Astros' Ronel Blanco: Works into seventh inning in win

Blanco (2-2) gained the win against the Blue Jays on Tuesday after allowing one run on two hits and two walks in 6.2 innings. He struck out three.

It was a much-needed bounce-back effort by Blanco, who induced 12 whiffs and gave up just two hits Tuesday after entering play with a dismal 6.38 ERA through his first four starts in 2025. The right-hander did yield a solo shot to Nathan Lukes in the third inning, but it was still Blanco's longest outing of the season in terms of innings pitched. Blanco now holds a 5.01 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 20:12 K:BB over 23.1 frames ahead of his next scheduled appearance, currently projected for next week at home against the Tigers.

  • Brayan Bello SP | BOS

Red Sox's Brayan Bello: Earns win in 2025 debut

Bello (1-0) collected the win against the Mariners on Tuesday. He allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings.

Tuesday was Bello's first start of the season after missing most of the first month of the season with a shoulder strain. He gave up a solo homer to Jorge Polanco in the first inning, but Bello managed to get out of a bases-load jam in the same frame to limit the damage to one run. Bello appeared to be in jeopardy of being lifted in the fourth inning due to right calf cramps, but he managed to gut it out and was able to make it through five innings on 97 pitches (51 strikes). He generated just seven whiffs and eight first-pitch strikes, but it was an encouraging season debut for the 25-year-old after posting a 6.52 ERA during his rehab assignment. Bello is lined up to face the Guardians on the road this weekend.

  • Jack Flaherty SP | DET

Tigers' Jack Flaherty: Fans nine in loss

Flaherty (1-2) yielded two runs on five hits over six innings Tuesday, striking out nine and taking a loss against the Padres.

The lone blemish on Flaherty's night was the two-run shot he allowed to Elias Diaz in the second inning. San Diego's offense provided no nothing in the 2-0 contest, leading to Flaherty being handed a loss. It was his first time completing six innings this season, and he tied his season best with nine punchouts. Flaherty forced 17 whiffs, including 10 with the knuckle curve. He'll carry a 2.63 ERA into his next matchup, which is lined up to come in Houston next week.

  • Dean Kremer SP | BAL

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Gives up 11 hits in loss

Kremer (2-3) took the loss against the Nationals on Tuesday, allowing six runs (five earned) on 11 hits while striking out four across 5.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.

Kremer put the Orioles behind in the first inning when he gave up a two-run homer to Nathaniel Lowe. Following a wild pitch in the second inning that yielded another run, Kremer was able to retire nine of the next 10 batters he faced before allowing three more runs across the fifth and sixth frames. The 29-year-old right-hander has allowed five earned runs in three of his five starts this season and has a 6.34 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB across 25 innings. Kremer will look look to rebound in his next start, slated for this weekend at Comerica Park against the Tigers.

  • Tigers' Sawyer Gipson-Long: Ready to face hitters

Gipson-Long (elbow/hip) will throw a live batting practice session Thursday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

It would appear to be the first time Gipson-Long has faced hitters since he underwent Tommy John surgery last April and left hip surgery last July. The right-hander could conceivably be ready to contribute for the Tigers around midseason, but he still has a long way to go in his rehab program.

  • Luis Garcia SP | NYY

Astros' Luis Garcia: Plays catch Tuesday

Garcia (elbow) played catch at Daikin Park on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander was diagnosed with right elbow inflammation in early April, the latest in a series of setbacks suffered by Garcia as he comes back from May 2023 Tommy John surgery. Previous reports indicated that Garcia would remain shut down until early May, so it appears he might be a bit ahead of schedule. Still, it's way too soon for any sort of timetable for the righty to be established.
