Greinke didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Arizona after allowing five runs on five hits and a walk across our four innings, striking out three.

Greinke has now gone winless in each of his last five starts, posting an 0-3 record with a 7.56 ERA in that stretch despite logging two quality starts as well. He's now given up five or more runs while failing to pitch more than five frames in each of his last three contests.

Gilbert (6-5) allowed just one run on three hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings as he got the win over the Royals on Sunday.

Gilbert had his way with the Royals, retiring 17 of the first 18 hitters he faced before allowing a double and a single in the sixth to give Kansas City their only run of the day. Sunday was his first win since July 30 despite owning a 2.01 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over four starts in September. The 24-year-old rookie has had some inconsistency this year but has shown enough upside to prove that his future is bright. He now sits at a 4.74 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 120:23 K:BB over 108.1 innings and tentatively lines up for a meeting against the Angels later in the week.

McClanahan (9-6) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

McClanahan returned to the mound for the first time in 11 days after hitting the injured list due to back stiffness and looked to be on top of his game. He touched triple digits with his fastball and punched out seven guys after throwing just 64 pitches. The lone tally against him was allowing a solo home run to Eric Haase in the fourth. The 24-year-old hasn't reached six innings in five of his last six starts despite only giving up more than two runs just once in those outings. He'll take a 3.51 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 135:36 K:BB over 115.1 innings into his next start, projected to be against the Marlins over the weekend again.

Montas got a no-decision in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels, allowing one hit and four walks with seven strikeouts in seven innings.

Other than a two-out two-on jam in the third, Montas breezed through Los Angeles' lineup and was in line for his fourth straight win until Sergio Romo blew the lead in the ninth. After a rocky first three months, Montas has a 2.40 ERA across 14 turns since the start of July.

Cole (15-8) allowed seven runs on 10 hits, a walk and a hit batter while striking out seven in 5.2 innings, taking the loss versus Cleveland on Sunday.

Cleveland put runs on the board in four of the six innings Cole pitched in, including solo shots from Jose Ramirez and Roberto Perez in the fifth and sixth. Cole has been a bit generous with baserunners lately, allowing 19 hits and six walks in his last 14.1 innings across three starts. His ERA ticked up to 3.03 with a 1.03 WHIP and 231:38 K:BB through 169.1 innings overall. The Yankees' ace is projected for a road start in Boston on Friday, as an off day Thursday allows the team to work with a four-man rotation next week.

Eovaldi allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings in Sunday's win over the Orioles. He struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.

All three runs allowed by Eovaldi came during the third inning, including a two-run single by Austin Hays. He was in line for his 11th win of the season before Boston's bullpen ran into some trouble in the seventh inning. The 31-year-old righty has recorded a 2.27 ERA with a 48:6 K:BB over his last six starts, but he hasn't earned a win since Aug. 11. Eovaldi will carry a 3.58 ERA into his projected home start against the Yankees next weekend.

Farrell (1-1) allowed five runs on seven hits and struck out one in one inning, taking the loss Sunday versus Toronto.

The right-hander started the bullpen game for Minnesota, but he allowed Toronto to go all the way through the order while piling up five runs. Farrell's ERA inflated from 1.31 to 3.45 with the nightmarish start Sunday, which suggests he may not be asked to open another game any time soon. He also has a 1.29 WHIP, 22:8 K:BB and one hold through 21.2 innings this season.

Lyles (9-12) allowed five earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three across 3.2 innings, taking the loss against the White Sox on Sunday.

Lyles fired three shutout innings to start the game. However, he fell apart in the fourth inning, allowing five runs while recording just two outs. He allowed a home run to Yasmani Grandal in that inning. The 30-year-old has a 5.36 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 134 strikeouts in 166.1 innings this season.

Berrios (12-8) allowed three runs on four hits, a walk and a hit batter with six strikeouts in 6.2 innings, earning the win Sunday versus Minnesota.

The 27-year-old turned in a quality start in his first start against Minnesota, the team he entered the majors with in 2016. Berrios gave up three doubles and a home run in the contest, but that hard contact ultimately didn't endanger Toronto's five-run lead from the first inning. The right-hander has a 3.45 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 187:43 K:BB across 180 innings overall. He lines up for his return to Target Field in a rematch with the Twins during next weekend's four-game series.

Giolito (10-9) allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk while striking out four across 5.1 innings, earning the win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Giolito allowed three hits in the fifth inning, leading to the only run he allowed. His four punchouts were his lowest in his last seven starts. The 26-year-old has a 3.70 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with a 10.3 K/9 in 167.2 innings this season. His next start is scheduled for Friday in Cleveland.
