Berrios (2-1) allowed six earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out none across 4.2 innings to take the loss Thursday against Cleveland.

Berrios began his outing with two scoreless innings but surrendered at least one earned run in each of his final three frames. He allowed a two-run home run to Steven Kwan in the third inning and has now allowed at least one long ball in four of his six starts. After a bumpy start to the campaign, Berrios had allowed only four earned runs across his last 18.2 frames. However, Thursday's poor outing jumped his ERA to 5.34 on the season, and he has a subpar 20:10 K:BB across 28.2 innings.

Irvin (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Irvin has been dealing with shoulder soreness, and while no further diagnosis has been announced, he'll be out until at least mid-May. He delivered strong results early in the campaign, maintaining a 2.93 ERA and 1.16 WHIP across 27.2 innings. The team has not officially named a starter for Friday's game against the Twins to replace Irvin, though Zach Logue is the leading candidate.

Hill didn't factor into the decision after allowing one hit and one walk across five scoreless innings during Thursday's 8-0 loss to the Angels. He struck out six.

Hill was masterful, scattering two base runners across five innings, but as expected, the veteran only threw 68 pitches and was relieved by Tanner Houck, who surrendered seven runs. After allowing seven runs over his first two starts, Hill has found his groove, tossing 13 straight scoreless innings over his last three starts. During that stretch, he's allowed just five hits and four walks while striking out 11. Thursday was the first time this season he's completed five innings as he remains in search of his first win.

Bundy tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday and will be placed on the injured list, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Bundy surrendered nine runs during Wednesday's start against the Orioles and will now step away from the team due to the positive test. The 29-year-old's next turn through the rotation lines up for Wednesday against the Astros, and his availability for that outing is now in question. He'll need to clear MLB's testing protocols before being able to rejoin the team.

Quantrill allowed three runs on three hits and five walks with seven strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Padres.

Facing his former team, Quantrill was spotty with his control, though it didn't stop him from turning in a third straight quality start. The right-hander has been able to limit his mistakes in 2022 with a 3.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 17:15 K:BB across 28 innings. The 4.8 BB/9 is concerning, but he's mitigated the damage by allowing just one home run so far. Quantrill lines up for a road start versus the White Sox next week.

Bradish didn't factor in the decision after allowing four runs on six hits and two walks through four innings during Wednesday's 9-4 win over the Twins.

Bradish was perfect through three innings, but he walked the leadoff batter to start the fourth and ended up allowing four runs in the inning. The 25-year-old was fortunate to escape with no further damage, as a line drive from Gilberto Celestino struck Gary Sanchez as he was trying to reach second base. Through two starts this season, Bradish has allowed six earned runs on 11 hits through 10 innings and sports a 5:3 K:BB.

Bundy (3-2) took the loss Wednesday, coughing up nine runs on 11 hits and two walks over 3.2 innings as the Twins fell 9-4 to the Orioles. He struck out three.

After getting through the first two innings scoreless, Bundy got into major trouble in the third after when he allowed the first five batters to reach base, ultimately resulting in a six-run inning. The Twins sent the veteran right-hander back out for the fourth, and he struggled once again, allowing three straight singles before Ryan Mountcastle ripped a two-RBI double down the left-field line. Bundy gave up just one run through his first 15.1 innings this season, but he's surrendered 15 runs over his last two starts.

Perez tossed seven scoreless inning and allowed four hits during Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Phillies, but he didn't factor into the decision. He struck out four and walked four.

Perez scattered eight baserunners across seven innings thanks to three double plays from the Rangers infield. After allowing six earned runs over his first two outings, the veteran lefty has surrendered just one run over his last 20 innings. During that stretch, Perez has given up just eight hits and sports a 13:5 K:BB. Despite the strong run the veteran lefty is still looking for his first win of the year.

Giolito (1-1) tossed 5.2 innings against the Cubs on Wednesday, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out 10 to earn the win.

Giolito was stung by the long ball -- two of the three hits he allowed left the park -- but the right-hander was otherwise impressive in picking up his first victory of the campaign. The veteran hurler induced 16 swinging strikes en route to a season-best 10 punchouts and fell one out shy of his second straight quality start. Despite the fact that this was his first victory, Giolito has pitched well thus far, registering a 3.20 ERA and 32:8 K:BB across 19.2 innings. He's next projected to face the Guardians at home early next week.

Detmers gave up three runs on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings in Wednesday's win over the Red Sox. He struck out two and did not factor into the decision.

Detmers surrendered a two-RBI double to Trevor Story in the bottom of the third inning, scoring Bobby Dalbec and Christian Arroyo. He later allowed another RBI double to Story, which scored Arroyo again. The 22-year-old Detmers has struggled to find his footing in 2022, pitching five or fewer innings in all five of his starts and posting a 5.32 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over 22 innings. He tentatively lines up to face the Rays at home Tuesday.
