White Sox manager Tony La Russa confirmed that Lynn (knee) will be activated from the 60-day injured list to start Monday's game against the Tigers, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander was initially trending toward a Tuesday return from the 60-day IL, but he'll be cleared to make his season debut a day earlier than expected, while Dylan Cease will start Tuesday. Lynn made three rehab starts over the last few weeks and posted a 9.00 ERA and 1.70 WHIP in 10 innings.

Kopech (knee) underwent an MRI on Sunday that didn't reveal any structural damage, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Kopech exited Sunday's start against the Rangers due to right knee discomfort and said after the game that he has some fluid built up and is feeling sore. While it's not yet clear whether the right-hander will need to miss any additional time, he hasn't been ruled out for his next turn through the rotation, and his injury doesn't appear to be a particularly serious concern. If Kopech is cleared to make his next start, he projects to take the mound on the road against Houston on Sunday.

Cueto allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four in five innings of relief Sunday against Texas. He did not factor into the decision in the team's loss.

Cueto was scheduled to start Monday in Detroit but came on in the third inning after Michael Kopech left with a knee injury. He got off to a rocky start, allowing a single on his first pitch and a two-run homer to Eli White two pitches later. After another run scored in the fourth, he retired 10 of the last 11 batters he faced. The 36-year-old has amassed a 3.53 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 35.2 innings in six appearances since joining Chicago in May. He's expected to make his next start next weekend in Houston.

Gray struck out 10 in six innings, allowing one run on three hits, three walks and a hit batsman in an 8-6 win Sunday against the White Sox. He did not factor into the decision

Gray allowed a two-out rally in the first inning to account for the only run against him. He did not allow another hit until the sixth inning. Gray has struck out at least 10 batters and allowed only one run in two of his last three starts. The 30-year-old has a 67:25 K:BB with five home runs allowed in 58 innings this year. His next start will likely be next weekend in Detroit.

Verlander (8-2) allowed four unearned runs on three hits and a walk with five strikeouts in seven innings, earning the win Sunday over the Marlins.

The Astros' defense committed two errors in the seventh inning, allowing the Marlins to build a four-run rally against Verlander that was capped off by a Bryan De La Cruz home run. It won't hurt Verlander's ERA since all the runs were unearned, and he's now gone seven innings in each of his last three starts. The 39-year-old now has a 1.94 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 78:15 K:BB through 78.2 innings across 12 starts. He projects to make his next start at home versus the White Sox next weekend.

Springs (3-2) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday versus the Twins.

Springs was stingy on the mound and received plenty of support from the Rays' offense. This was his second win in eight starts, and it's the fifth time he's managed to keep runs off the board since moving into the rotation. Overall, he's pitched to a strong 1.45 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 50:12 K:BB in 49.2 innings across 16 outings. He'll look to keep up his success in Baltimore next weekend.

Keller (1-8) took the loss Sunday against Baltimore, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three in 1.2 innings.

Keller allowed a two-out solo homer to Anthony Santander in the first and back-to-back homers to Ryan Mountcastle and Rougned Odor to start the second. Keller was removed later that inning after allowing a two-out, two-run single. Over his last seven starts, the 26-year-old is 0-6 with a 7.23 ERA and eight home runs allowed in 37.1 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend in Oakland.

Kremer (1-1) earned the victory Sunday in Kansas City, striking out two in five innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks.

Kremer held the Royals scoreless through the first five innings, scattering three singles and a couple of walks. He allowed a single to lead off the sixth and, following an error by Richie Martin that led to a run, Kremer's day ended. It was the second start of the season for the 26-year-old, and he has a 3.86 ERA through 9.1 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend against Tampa Bay.

Skubal (5-3) took the loss Sunday against Toronto, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five in four innings.

After pitching well through the first three innings, Skubal was touched up for four runs in the fourth. He allowed four extra-base hits and needed 34 pitches to complete the frame. It was the most runs given up in a start by the lefty since April 28, ending a streak of seven straight starts in which he pitched at least five innings and allowed three runs or fewer. Despite the poor showing, the 25-year-old is still having an excellent year with a 2.71 ERA and 75:12 K:BB in 69.1 innings. His next start will likely be at the end of next week against Texas.

Stripling (3-1) earned the victory Sunday in Detroit, striking out four in six scoreless innings while allowing one hit.

Striping faced the minimum in his six innings, inducing two double-play groundballs that erased the two baserunners (one reaching on an error) he allowed. It was his second straight start where he allowed one hit and no runs while pitching at least five innings. Stripling has split time between the rotation and the bullpen but is attempting to cement his spot as a starter with a 2.81 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 24:2 K:BB in that role. His next start will likely come next week against the Yankees.
