Javier (6-8) allowed a run on six hits and no walks while striking out four in six innings to take the loss during Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Javier was effective during Sunday's outing, and the only run he gave up came via a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth inning. Although he picked up his second consecutive quality start, he was charged with the loss against Cleveland since the Astros' offense mustered just two hits. The right-hander has posted a 3.18 ERA in 17 innings over his last three outings but has been charged with a loss in each of those starts. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Athletics next Sunday.

Crawford (3-4) yielded five runs on five hits and two walks over five innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Royals.

Crawford coughed up two runs in the third inning, but most of the damage came on MJ Melendez's three-run shot in the fifth. The 26-year-old rookie snapped his six-start streak of fewer than four runs allowed and saw his season ERA climb to 4.30. Since the start of July, Crawford owns a 3.23 ERA through 39 frames. He's expected to face the Yankees at home next week.

Keller (6-12) allowed one run on four hits and three walks over six innings Sunday, striking out four and earning a win over Boston.

Keller didn't face much of a threat through five shutout frames before Rafael Devers tagged him with a solo shot in the sixth. It was his first win since July 11 after allowing 16 runs (15 earned) over his previous three starts. The 27-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 4.45 with an 80:44 K:BB through 119.1 frames. Keller is lined up for a tough matchup against the Dodgers at home next week.

Gonzales (7-11) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out seven to earn the win Sunday over the Angels.

The seven strikeouts were a season high for Gonzales, who also turned in his fourth quality start in his last seven outings. David Fletcher was the only Angel to find success against him, posting a two-out double and an RBI groundout. Gonzales still has a 3.98 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 72:40 K:BB across 124.1 innings through 22 starts -- given his pitch-to-contact tendencies, his 2.9 BB/9 rate has led to some crooked numbers at times. The southpaw is tentatively projected for a road start versus the Rangers next weekend.

Giolito (8-6) earned the victory Sunday in Texas, striking out five in five innings while allowing a run on six hits and three walks.

It wasn't exactly his best outing, but he managed to hold Texas to only one run despite allowing nine baserunners and needing 103 pitches to complete the five frames. He allowed the leadoff man to get on in three of the five innings, and the Rangers recorded a hit in each inning, but Giolito consistently induced a timely groundball to end the threats. The 28-year-old has pitched at least five innings in 11 of his last 12 outings, but his 4.91 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 18 homers allowed in 106.1 innings are a far cry from his output in the previous three seasons. His next start will likely be next weekend against Detroit.

Rasmussen was lifted in the top of the fourth inning of his start in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Tigers in a "baseball decision," Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports. He struck out two over three no-hit innings and didn't factor into the decision.

Manager Kevin Cash made no indication that Rasmussen would be limited while returning to the mound Sunday on his standard four days' rest, but that's exactly what happened, even though the right-hander faced one more than the minimum through three innings while throwing just 33 pitches. Since he departed with the game tied 0-0, Rasmussen didn't come away with the win after Tampa Bay plated all seven of their runs in the top of the ninth inning. The early exit on a day he was pitching so well was surely frustrating for fantasy managers, but Rasmussen at least turned in a 1.00 ERA and 0.88 WHIP during his two-start week.

Rasmussen was lifted in the bottom of the fourth inning of his start Sunday against the Tigers with an apparent injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. He struck out two over three no-hit innings before departing.

Only an Isaac Paredes fielding error prevented Rasmussen from facing the minimum amount of batters through three innings, and since Tampa Bay wasn't planning on having Rasmussen make a short start Sunday, it appears safe to assume his early exit was due to some sort of physical concern. Expect the Rays to provide an update on Rasmussen's situation later Sunday.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Wacha (shoulder) will make another rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A Worcester, MLB.com reports.

Wacha was impressive during an Aug. 4 outing for Worcester, retiring the first 13 batters and 14 of 15 over a scoreless 4.2 innings. Cora said the goal is one more rehab start before Wacha joins the club at the end of the week. Wacha tentatively lines up to start Sunday's home game against the Yankees.

The Yankees reinstated Montas (personal) from the bereavement list in advance of his scheduled start Sunday in St. Louis.

Montas will be making his Yankees debut Sunday after he left the team shortly after being acquired from the Athletics earlier in the week to attend to a death in his family. Assuming the right-hander was able to throw a bullpen session amid his brief absence from the team, he shouldn't face any major restrictions when he takes the hill Sunday. Prior to being acquired from Oakland, Montas went 4-9 with a 3.18 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 19 innings, but his prospects for picking up wins should improve greatly now that he's backed by one of the majors' top offenses.

Dunning (2-6) gave up one hit and a walk while striking out six over seven shutout innings to earn the win in an 8-0 victory over the White Sox on Saturday.

Dunning allowed only two baserunners and combined with Taylor Hearn to blank the White Sox in his best start of the season. It was only the second start this year in which Dunning did not give up an earned run, and the performance lowered his ERA to 4.04. It was only Dunning's second win of the campaign despite the fact that he has pitched 113 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander has now put together a couple of quality starts in a row and will look to build on the momentum his next time out.
