Lynn was placed on the bereavement list Saturday.

Players may spend between three and seven days on the bereavement list. Lynn last pitched Thursday, so he's expected to make his next start next week against the Royals, per James Fegan of The Athletic.

Martin was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte prior to Saturday's start against the Diamondbacks.

Martin hasn't made a major-league start since early August but will rejoin the big-league club after Michael Kopech (knee) was placed on the 15-day injured list this week. Martin has posted a 4.25 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 36 innings over eight appearances (four starts) in the majors this year, and it's possible that he remains in the rotation if he performs well Saturday.

Detmers (5-4) picked up the win in Friday's 12-0 rout of the Blue Jays, allowing four hits and three walks over 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out five.

The 23-year-old southpaw dealt with traffic on the bases in each of the first three innings but escaped without any damage as the Angels built a 7-0 lead, and Detmers cruised from that point on. He exited after 105 pitches (66 strikes). Over 33.2 innings since the All-Star break, he sports a 2.14 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 42:14 K:BB while winning three of his six starts.

Eovaldi (shoulder) threw 25 pitches during a bullpen session Friday, MLB.com reports.

Eovaldi resumed throwing Wednesday and felt good while throwing all five of his pitches during Friday's throwing session. The right-hander will likely throw another side session in the coming days, and manager Alex Cora expects Eovaldi to make at least one rehab start prior to returning from the injured list.

Bubic (2-9) took the loss to the Padres on Friday, allowing six runs on nine hits while striking out three and walking one over four innings.

Bubic picked up his ninth loss of the year after a six-run clunker Friday. He threw 42 of 64 pitches for strikes and was burned mostly by singles and doubles. Two of Bubic's six earned runs came on solo shots in the third inning. He also allowed an RBI single, a two-run double and another double that sent a runner home. Over his last three games, the lefty has allowed 27 hits, 14 earned runs and six walks over 13.1 innings, while striking out 10 batters. Bubic's struggles have resulted in a 5.62 ERA on the season.

Cueto (6-6) took the loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday, allowing seven runs on five hits while striking out four and walking two over five innings.

Cueto was knocked around for seven runs in Friday's contest in his worst game of the season. The righty was on a streak of 10 quality starts until Friday's clunker. He was burned for two home runs, a two-RBI double and another run on a sac fly. Cueto's still impressive ERA moved from 2.58 to 2.98.

McCullers gave up four hits and three walks while striking out two over five scoreless innings in a 2-0 loss to the Orioles on Friday. He did not factor into the decision.

McCullers held the Orioles scoreless in his third start of the season since returning from the 60-day injured list with a flexor tendon strain. McCullers allowed seven baserunners and only managed a couple of punchouts, but solid defensive play by Jose Altuve helped to keep the opposition off the board. Nevertheless, he was outdueled by Kyle Bradish and was forced to settle with the no-decision. McCullers lowered his ERA to 1.69 through 16 innings with the performance. He is tentatively expected to make his next start against the Angels.

Bradish (2-5) gave up two hits and two walks while striking out six over eight shutout innings to earn the win in a 2-0 victory over the Astros on Friday.

Bradish put together the best start of his young career, and it came on the road against a tough Astros lineup. Bradish threw his slider 51 percent of the time and 67 of his 96 pitches were strikes. The 25-year-old rookie right-hander lowered his ERA to 5.63 with the unexpected performance and has a K:BB of 79:29 across 80 innings this season. It is worth monitoring to see if Bradish can build on this career-best start his next time on the mound, which tentatively lines up for next week at Cleveland.

Ryan (10-6) gave up two hits and three walks over six shutout innings to earn the win in a 9-0 victory over the Giants on Friday.

Ryan leaned heavily on his fastball with success. The Giants whiffed on the pitch 25 percent of the time and Ryan mixed in a highly effective selection of offspeed offerings to garner 17 swinging strikes on 107 pitches. Ryan's dominant showing helped the Twins snap a six-game losing streak. It was his first scoreless appearance since April 27 and the 26-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.65 with the performance. He is expected to make his next start against the Red Sox.

Bieber allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and struck out nine over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners. He did not walk a batter.

Both runs Bieber allowed came on sacrifice flies. He was slightly more effective than Seattle starter Logan Gilbert in what amounted to a pitchers' duel. Bieber has strung together six straight quality starts, allowing nine runs (seven earned) across 40.1 innings in that stellar span. The Cleveland ace has a 3.02 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 153:32 K:BB in 152 innings over 24 outings this season. He's projected for a home start versus the Orioles next week.
