Rodriguez (2-3) earned the victory Sunday over the Angels, striking out five in five shutout innings while allowing four hits and three walks.

Rodriguez (personal) made his first start since May 18 after dealing with a rib injury and a personal issue over the last three months. Three times Sunday the lefty had two runners on and one out; in each case, he worked his way out of trouble. He tossed 78 pitches -- 45 strikes -- and may have a pitch limit as he works his way back to full strength. The 29-year-old has a 3.89 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 39:20 K:BB in 44 innings across nine starts this year. His next start will likely be at the end of next week in Texas.

Greinke was removed from Sunday's start against the Rays after the fourth inning due to cramping in his right forearm, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Greinke experienced a cramp in his forearm in the fourth inning and was able to finish the frame, but the Royals elected to remove him from the game as a precautionary measure. The team will wait to see how he feels Monday before determining his status going forward. If he's cleared to make his next start, Greinke tentatively lines up to start at home against the Padres on Saturday.

Manager Alex Cora said Eovaldi (shoulder/neck) won't be available to start Tuesday's home game against the Blue Jays as the Red Sox had hoped, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Eovaldi was scratched ahead of his most recent scheduled start last Thursday in Pittsburgh after he experienced soreness in his neck and shoulder area. At the time, Eovaldi's scratch was viewed as mostly precautionary, but Cora relayed that the right-hander hasn't responded to treatment as well as the Red Sox had hoped over the past few days. Cora noted that an IL stint could be on the table for Eovaldi, but the team may wait until after Monday's off day before officially deciding on his status.

Civale and the Guardians won't face the White Sox on Sunday after the game was postponed due to unplayable field conditions, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Due to inclement weather in the Cleveland area, the game was delayed from its scheduled 12:05 p.m. ET start time, only to be officially postponed just over three hours later. The Guardians could use the postponement to reorder their rotation, in which case Civale might have his turn skipped entirely before returning to action next weekend in Seattle. The White Sox and Guardians will make up the postponed game Sept. 15.

Cease and the White Sox won't face the Guardians on Sunday after the game was postponed due to unplayable field conditions, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Severino tossed 25 pitches in a bullpen session Saturday, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

The side session was the second in as many days for Severino, who threw 30 pitches in the previous trip to the mound Friday. The right-hander is reportedly recovering well, but he's not eligible to come off the injured list until Sept. 12, which is an off day for the Yankees. Severino's next step is to throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, during which he will reportedly face rehabbing slugger Giancarlo Stanton (Achilles), per Marakovits.

Bieber (8-7) took the loss Saturday, allowing one earned run on five hits and three walks over 6.1 innings against the White Sox. He struck out four.

Bieber surrendered his lone earned run on a sixth-inning RBI double from first baseman Jose Abreu. The 27-year-old had recorded four straight wins entering this contest and boasts a 1.62 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 33.1 innings over his last five starts. Furthermore, the righty has turned in five straight quality starts.

Cueto (6-5) earned the win Saturday, allowing zero runs on five hits and one walk over 8.2 innings against the Guardians. He struck out two.

Cueto allowed just one extra-base hit, in the form of a double from outfielder Oscar Gonzalez, during his dominant performance. The righty has been particularly effective recently with a 1.84 ERA in 58.2 innings over his last eight games, pitching eight innings or more four times and allowing zero homers seven times during that span. The 36-year-old veteran has been awesome on the road this season with a 1.81 ERA in 59.2 innings compared to a 3.36 ERA in 59 innings at home.

Bubic (2-8) took the loss Saturday, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.2 innings against Tampa Bay.

Bubic surrendered three doubles, two of which drove in a run -- one off the bat of Taylor Walls and the other from Yandy Diaz. The 25-year-old had been pitching better with a 2.89 ERA in 37.1 innings over his last six starts prior to this contest, and he has not allowed a homer in his last four. The lefty has been much more successful at home during his previous seven outings with a 2.41 ERA in 18.2 innings compared to a 4.43 ERA in 22.1 innings on the road.

Bradish (1-5) took the loss to Boston on Saturday, allowing three runs on nine hits while striking out six and walking none across 5.2 innings.

Despite striking out six batters and walking none, Bradish was tagged with the loss after allowing nine hits and three Boston runners to cross the plate. Bradish has not gone six innings or more since May 10 and has done it only twice on the year, limiting his opportunities to earn both wins and quality starts. He also has allowed three or more runs to score in nine of 15 games. Bradish's three-run outing actually lowered his ERA to a lackluster 6.25.
