Manoah was optioned to the Blue Jays' Florida Complex League affiliate Tuesday, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

The move comes one day after Manoah was pummeled for six runs while recording just one out in a loss to the Astros to push his ERA on the season to 6.85. The Blue Jays sending Manoah all the way down to their FCL affiliate figures to mean he won't be pitching in any games right away and instead will be working on mechanics and other things in hopes of regaining his old form. He'll likely be put into the Triple-A Buffalo rotation once he's deemed ready, with the hope that he'll eventually return to Toronto.

The Yankees are expected to call up Vasquez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start Wednesday's game versus the White Sox, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

New York still isn't listing an official replacement in the rotation for the injured Nestor Cortes (shoulder) for Wednesday's contest, but Vasquez was spotted in the clubhouse Tuesday. He can't be promoted yet unless it's to replace an injured player, so the Yankees will likely officially place Cortes on the injured list prior to Wednesday's contest to facilitate Vasquez's call-up. Vasquez allowed two runs over 4.2 innings in his major-league debut against the Padres on May 26.

Teodo (forearm) has allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four in 5.1 innings across two starts since being activated from High-A Hickory's 7-day injured list May 24.

Teodo hasn't started either contest, as he's instead been deployed as a bulk reliever in tandem outings with Dane Acker, who was reinstated from the IL that same day after being sidelined for the first seven weeks of the season with an unspecified injury. Until both young hurlers are fully stretched out, Teodo and Acker may continue to work in a tandem.

Manning (foot) threw live batting practice Tuesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

It would appear to be the first time Manning has faced hitters since he went down with a fractured right foot back in mid-April. Assuming the right-hander comes out of Tuesday's session with no issues, he'll be cleared to begin a rehab assignment and presumably will require multiple rehab starts before rejoining the Tigers' rotation.

Dunning will start Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Dunning, who opened the season as a long reliever, continues to fill in for the injured Jacob deGrom (elbow), who was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday. Tuesday will be Dunning's sixth turn through the rotation, and he should get at least another four before deGrom's earliest return date, June 28. Dunning has a 2.28 ERA with 21 strikeouts and six walks over 27.2 innings as a starter.

Perez allowed an unearned run on three hits and one walk over seven innings in a no-decision against St. Louis on Monday. He struck out five batters.

Perez tossed arguably his best game of the campaign, giving up a season-low three hits and tying a season high by completing seven frames. The only run he allowed was unearned, and he finished with his fifth quality start. The southpaw was in line for the win when he departed, but Grant Anderson gave up two runs in relief in the eighth inning, sending Perez to a no-decision. Despite that disappointment, Perez bounced back nicely after giving up six earned runs over 4.2 frames against Detroit his last time out.

Hart signed a minor-league contract with the Mariners on Monday.

Hart was let go by the Phillies in April, and he'll now head to Seattle where he'll likely serve as organizational depth. He last appeared in the big leagues during the 2020 season with Boston, when he struggled to a 15.55 ERA and 3.09 WHIP with a 13:10 K:BB across 11 innings.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Rodon (back/forearm) is slated to face hitters Wednesday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

While Rodon appears to be past the forearm strain that emerged early in spring training, he's been set back by an unrelated back injury that required a cortisone shot several weeks ago. The southpaw has subsequently started ramping back up and resumed mound work in late May. With throwing sessions against live hitters now in the forecast, Rodon appears to be inching closer to making his Yankees debut, though even if he encounters no further obstacles he's likely still several weeks away. It's possible that he could return in late June, though an early July target may be more feasible.

Sears allowed one run on two hits and five walks over 4.2 innings in Monday's loss to the Pirates. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Sears tossed four shutout frames before the Pirates finally broke through in the fifth inning. His lack of command caused him to throw a career-high 112 pitches despite not finishing five innings. On the bright side, he's given up two or fewer earned runs in five straight starts, dropping his ERA to 4.20 through 64.1 frames. Sears is currently lined up to start in Milwaukee this weekend.

Bielak (3-2) allowed three runs on 10 hits and a walk over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out two and earning a win over the Blue Jays.

It wasn't a very clean outing for Bielak but he was given six runs of support before throwing his first pitch so he cruised to an easy win. He tied his longest outing of the year despite punching out just two batters. The 27-year-old righty is carrying a 3.35 ERA and a 30:13 K:BB through 37.2 frames. Bielak is currently lined up to start in Cleveland this weekend.
