Manning did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one hit and two walks over two scoreless innings in a 14-3 loss to the Padres. He struck out two.

After tossing two scoreless innings, Manning was forced back to the dugout due to a rain delay and did not return despite throwing only 32 pitches. The start marked his first outing going fewer than five innings but continued a stretch of strong play. Over his last three starts (14.1 innings), Manning has allowed just one earned run and five total hits to lower his season ERA to 3.19. He's tentatively scheduled to take on the Marlins in Miami for his next start.

Gilbert didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 9-8 win over the Blue Jays, giving up five runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander was looking sharp through four innings, but the wheels came off in the fifth, as Gilbert served up homers to Kevin Kiermaier, Brandon Belt and Vladimir Guerrero before exiting in line for his sixth loss. However, he got off the hook with a no-decision when the Mariners had their own offensive outburst in the seventh. Gilbert hadn't been taken deep multiple times since June 11, and in the six starts between those performances he posted a 2.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB through 39.1 innings. He'll look to regain that form in his next outing, which is likely to come next weekend in Arizona.

Gausman didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 9-8 loss to the Mariners, giving up four runs -- all on solo home runs -- over six innings. He struck out nine without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander gave up only five hits in total, but when Seattle's bats made contact, the ball went a long way. It's the first time since April 17 that Gausman has served up multiple homers in a start, so this performance likely isn't the beginning of a trend. He'll take a 3.18 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and dazzling 162:29 K:BB through 121.2 innings into his next outing, which is likely to come at home next weekend against the Angels.

Dunning (8-3) took the loss Saturday as the Rangers were routed 16-3 by the Dodgers, coughing up five runs on seven hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out one.

Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy both took Dunning deep in the third inning, kicking an 18-hit, five-homer eruption from the Los Angeles offense into high gear. It's only the second time this season the right-hander has served up multiple home runs in an outing, but Dunning's early season stinginess has evaporated -- since the beginning of June, he has a 4.17 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 32:16 K:BB through 54 innings, getting tagged for all nine of his homers allowed on the year during that time. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which is likely to come next weekend in San Diego.

Bibee (6-2) earned the win over Philadelphia on Saturday, pitching seven scoreless innings during which he gave up two hits and one walk while striking out eight batters.

Both Bibee and Phillies starter Zack Wheeler turned in an impressive start Saturday, but the rookie outdueled the veteran with his seven scoreless frames. Bibee allowed just four baserunners -- two on hits, one via walk and one on a hit-by-pitch -- and racked up an impressive 22 whiffs en route to eight strikeouts. The right-hander has yielded two or fewer runs in each of his past five starts, posting a 1.21 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB over 29.2 innings during that span.

Javier (7-2) allowed two runs on one hit and six walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Athletics.

Javier didn't give up a hit until the sixth inning. He put two on with two outs, but Phil Maton let three straight runners reach base and allowed two inherited runners to score, which was enough to leave Javier with the loss. It's been a rough stretch for Javier, who has given up 23 runs while walking 14 over his last 21.1 innings across five starts. The poor pitching has him up to a 4.32 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP and 94:33 K:BB through 102 innings overall. The right-hander is tentatively scheduled for a much tougher matchup at home versus Tampa Bay for his next start.

Blackburn allowed a run on five hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Saturday.

Blackburn gave up the opening run, an Alex Bregman solo home run, in the sixth inning, but Oakland was able to take the lead back in its half of the frame. It was a good bounce-back for Blackburn after he was tagged for six runs in his previous outing. He's still walked multiple batters in three of his last four appearances and carries a 49:18 K:BB with a 5.06 ERA and 1.58 WHIP through 48 innings this season. The right-hander is tentatively lined up for a challenging road start in Colorado next weekend.

Detmers (2-7) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Pirates.

Detmers turned in a fine performance, but the Angels couldn't generate any runs. The southpaw has allowed 15 runs over 20.1 innings in July, but he's now gone two straight starts without allowing a home run. The 24-year-old has a 4.38 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 122:37 K:BB through 96.2 innings over 18 starts. Detmers is tentatively projected for a road start in Toronto next weekend.

Cease allowed a run on three hits and two walks while striking out nine over six innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Saturday.

Cease pitched well enough to win, but Keynan Middleton and Gregory Santos couldn't preserve the lead in the seventh inning. This was Cease's first quality start in four July outings -- he's given up 10 runs over 22.1 innings in that span. The right-hander is now at a 4.04 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 138:47 K:BB through 113.2 innings over 21 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus the Guardians next week.

Gray allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Saturday.

Gray had allowed a combined 11 runs over his last 11.2 innings entering this start, but he was back in solid form against a division rival. The right-hander didn't get enough run support while in the game, causing his winless streak to reach 14 starts. He's now at a 3.15 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 110:44 K:BB through 111.1 innings this season. Gray is projected for a favorable road start in Kansas City next week.
