Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Kelly tweaked his right groin while fielding a grounder in Tuesday's extra-inning loss to Arizona, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Kelly was checked on by a trainer after fielding a grounder and throwing to first base in the seventh inning, but he was able to stay in the game and finish the frame, picking up his seventh hold of the season in the process. Roberts said after the loss that the veteran reliever tweaked his right groin on the play and indicated that the team would assess him Wednesday. Kelly has pitched an inning in three of the past four days, and he probably won't be available for Wednesday's contest regardless of how he's feeling, per Ardaya.

The Twins optioned Funderburk to Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Funderburk worked two innings in Tuesday's win over the White Sox, allowing a pair of runs. Since he wasn't going to be available for Wednesday's series finale in Chicago, Funderburk will head back to Triple-A while the Twins bring aboard right-hander Caleb Boushley from St. Paul to serve as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen.

Uribe received a six-game suspension Wednesday for his role in a benches-clearing brawl Tuesday in the Brewers' 8-2 win over the Rays, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. He has appealed the suspension and will be available for Wednesday's series finale versus Tampa Bay.

In addition to Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy receiving a two-game ban, three players - Uribe, Brewers right-hander Freddy Peralta (five games) and Rays outfielder Jose Siri (three games) - were suspended for their roles in Tuesday's brawl. Uribe's punishment is the most severe since he's considered to have incited the incident in the eighth inning, when he threw a punch at Siri after Siri grounded out. Uribe was ejected from the game, but he'll appeal the six-game suspension with the hope of getting the banishment reduced.

The Marlins optioned Ramirez to Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Ramirez made a good first impression in his first-ever stint in the big leagues, tossing 3.1 relief innings for the Marlins. He should get another opportunity with the big club before long.

The White Sox recalled Shuster from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

Chris Flexen will start for the White Sox on Wednesday versus the Twins and has bounced between the rotation and bullpen lately, so Shuster will give Chicago an option for long relief, if needed. The lefty has allowed just one run over 6.1 innings in two relief appearances with the big club this season.

The White Sox optioned Berroa to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

Berroa made just one appearance during his time with the White Sox, retiring one batter and hitting another with a pitch in Tuesday's loss to the Twins. The White Sox will replace him on the active roster with Jared Shuster, who was recalled from Triple-A and will give the bullpen more length.

Keller is scheduled to start Friday's game against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

Keller was called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday and proceeded to make his White Sox debut as a reliever Monday, when he tossed 1.2 scoreless innings against the Twins. The White Sox haven't indicated that Keller will be joining the rotation on a permanent basis, as the team might have just wanted to build in an extra day of rest for Erick Fedde, who will take the hill Saturday after tossing 8.1 innings and 108 pitches in his most recent outing last Sunday versus the Rays. Keller will be taking the mound Friday on three days' rest, so he could face a light workload, even though he had worked five-plus innings in each of his three starts with Charlotte prior to his call-up.

Scott (1-4) earned the win Tuesday over Colorado, allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk in one inning. He struck out two.

Scott allowed the free runner to score in the top of the 10th inning on a two-out Ryan McMahon double before ultimately striking out Hunter Goodman to end the frame. The Marlins would then score twice in the bottom half, completing the comeback victory and giving Scott his first win this year. The left-hander hasn't allowed an earned run in his last six appearances -- he's 4-for-5 in save chances this year with a 2.84 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 12:13 K:BB across 12.2 innings.

Lambert is scheduled to start Thursday's game in Miami.

After making his first start of the season April 21 versus the Mariners, Lambert made his most recent appearance out of the bullpen, as he covered 2.2 innings in long relief on April 25 after starter Dakota Hudson was pulled from the contest midway through the fourth inning. After having off days last Friday and this past Monday, the Rockies were able to temporarily get by with a four-man rotation, but Lambert will return to starting role this week as the team returns to a five-man rotation.

The Cardinals returned Leahy to Triple-A Memphis following Tuesday's doubleheader with the Tigers, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Leahy received his first call-up of 2024 on Tuesday, serving as the Cardinals' 27th man for the twin bill. He came on in relief of starter Steven Matz in the Cardinals' 11-6 loss in Game 2, taking the loss while allowing two earned runs on two hits in 1.1 innings.
