The Marlins announced Tuesday that Sanchez (shoulder) is asymptomatic while throwing and rehabbing at the team's extended spring training facility in Jupiter, Fla., MLB.com reports.

Sanchez was placed on the 15-day injured list June 2, with the Marlins deactivating him two days after he saw a significant dip in velocity in his May 31 start versus the Rangers. While it's encouraging that Sanchez didn't face an extended shutdown from throwing, the Marlins will likely proceed slowly with the right-hander, who has previously undergone two surgeries on his shoulder. The Marlins may not have a spot in the rotation available for Sanchez if Edward Cabrera (shoulder) and Ryan Weathers (finger) beat him back from the IL.

Hudson earned a hold against Kansas City on Sunday, striking out two batters in a perfect eighth inning.

Tyler Glasnow gave Los Angeles seven shutout frames, and manager Dave Roberts then turned to Hudson to protect a three-run lead. The veteran reliever did so without any trouble, retiring all three batters he faced on 10 pitches. Hudson has been excellent for the Dodgers this season, posting a 1.93 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 31:3 K:BB over 28 innings while recording 10 holds, three saves and three wins. He's gone 13 straight outings without giving up a run, posting a 15:2 K:BB during that stretch.

Hoeing (hamstring) struck out two and allowed one hit and no walks over two scoreless innings in a rehab appearance Friday with Single-A Jupiter.

According to MLB.com, the right-hander is expected to make another rehab appearance for Jupiter on Tuesday or Wednesday. After that, the Marlins could either activate him from the 15-day injured list or have him continue his minor-league assignment with a higher-level affiliate. Hoeing has been on the shelf since May 3 with a left hamstring strain and then felt renewed tightness when he first began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Jacksonville on May 21.

Suarez (1-2) took the loss against San Francisco on Sunday, allowing five runs on five hits and one walk over one-plus inning.

Ben Joyce worked two frames as the opener in the contest, and Suarez was deployed next, presumably to attempt to cover multiple innings. That plan seemed to be on track when the left-hander tossed a scoreless third frame (despite giving up two hits), but Suarez then allowed five straight batters to reach -- on three doubles, a walk and a hit-by-pitch -- in the bottom of the fourth and was consequently given the hook. Suarez has given up nine runs over 3.2 innings across his past two appearances, pushing his season ERA up to an ugly 8.15.

Triple-A Buffalo placed Danner on its 7-day injured list Tuesday with an unspecified injury.

Danner is a member of the Blue Jays' 40-man roster, but he's pitched exclusively with Buffalo this season. Over 22.2 innings out of the Triple-A bullpen, Danner has turned in a 3.18 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 24:9 K:BB.

Triple-A Buffalo placed Espino on its 7-day injured list Wednesday with an unspecified injury.

Espino hadn't pitched for Buffalo since May 30 before he was deactivated. The 37-year-old right-hander made two appearances for the Blue Jays earlier in the season and still possesses a spot on Toronto's 40-man roster, but he's pitched exclusively at the Triple-A level since mid-April. He owns a 4.57 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 29:15 K:BB in 43.1 innings over his nine starts with Buffalo.

Estrada retired only one batter (via strikeout) while giving up four runs on five hits and one walk against the Mets on Sunday.

When Estrada entered in the bottom of the eighth inning, the Padres were only one run down after posting a four-run top of the frame. However, the reliever negated the comeback bid by allowing four runs of his own as New York racked up five hits -- including a homer and a double -- against him. Estrada began his tenure with San Diego in eye-opening fashion, allowing just two earned runs over his first 21 innings while recording a 35:7 K:BB. However, he's come back to earth in his past two outings, giving up five runs over 1.1 frames.

Green gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless seventh inning Sunday to record his sixth save of the season in a win over the Guardians.

The right-hander did his job in a high-leverage spot with the Blue Jays ahead 7-4, but the team's late-inning crew got thinner when Yimi Garcia left the game in the ninth with elbow soreness. Nate Pearson wound up getting the save Sunday, but with Jordan Romano (elbow) just resuming his throwing program this weekend and lacking a firm return date, Green could be Toronto's top closing option in the short term.

Gallegos (shoulder) could be activated from the 15-day injured list as soon as Monday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

If Gallegos doesn't rejoin the 26-man active roster Monday, he could rejoin the St. Louis bullpen at some point during the club's three-game series with the Marlins, which runs through Wednesday. Gallegos has been out since early May with a right shoulder impingement and has struggled during his minor-league rehab assignment, allowing eight runs with a 5:4 K:BB over 6.1 innings. Prior to landing on the shelf, Gallegos posted a 12.00 ERA in 13 appearances with St. Louis. Gallegos will likely be deployed in low-leverage situations initially upon his return.

Iglesias (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Rays, giving up two runs on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. He struck out three.

Atlanta rallied from a 6-2 deficit to tie the game in the eighth inning, but Iglesias served up a two-run homer to Jose Siri to squander the comeback. It's only the second long ball the veteran closer has allowed this season in 26.2 innings, and Iglesias sports a 2.70 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB while converting 18 of 20 save chances.
