Young will be placed on the 7-day DL with a forearm sprain, Nick Piecoro of azcentral Sports reports.

Young is off to a fantastic start at Single-A Kane County with a 1.29 ERA in three starts. Farm director Mike Bell only expects the rising prospect to miss a few starts with this "minor" injury.

Iglesias didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Mets, allowing three runs in five innings. He allowed eight hits, walked two, and struck out seven.

Iglesias has allowed three runs or fewer in all five of his starts thus far, but has given up 34 hits in 28.1 innings this season. The 26-year-old has a bloated 1.45 WHIP, but has been able to limit damage against him by striking out better than a batter per inning. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Pirates.

Leone was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Monday, Nick Piecoro of AZcentral Sports reports.

Leone appeared in six games for Triple-A Reno and posted a 3.86 ERA along with nine strikeouts in seven innings of work. The 24-year-old will provide bullpen depth for the Diamondbacks as long as he remains with the club.

Kontos (elbow) has played catch the past two days, but manager Bruce Bochy relayed Monday that the right-handed reliever remains a "couple weeks" from a return, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.

Kontos was placed on the DL last Tuesday as a result of a flexor strain, but his first activation date appears to be optimistic following Bochy's comment. In the meantime, the Giants' bullpen will continue to operate without two key cogs, the other being Sergio Romo (forearm).

Coleman has been activated from the bereavement list for Monday's game against Miami.

He'll replace Luis Avilan in the bullpen effective immediately. Coleman has allowed four runs on four hits over five innings in five appearances out of the Dodgers' bullpen this season.

Rusin will start Friday's game against the D-backs, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Jordan Lyles was optioned to Triple-A on Monday after four poor starts to begin the season. Rusin has pitched well in relief thus far, turning in a 2.45 ERA and 0.72 WHIP over 11 innings out of the bullpen for Colorado.

Sims has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett, where he made his debut Saturday night, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Sims dominated at Double-A to open the year, striking out 26 batters while allowing just seven hits (albeit with 10 walks) over 14.2 innings. In his Triple-A start, he allowed two runs over five innings, giving up three hits and four walks while striking out four. Unfortunately for Sims, the walks are a feature and not a bug, so enthusiasm for his strikeout potential has to be tempered some.

Beede, 22, has a 4.20 ERA and 16:4 K:BB through 15 innings for Double-A Richmond.

On a positive note, Beede's strikeout ratio is up from last season. On the downside, opposing batters are hitting .317 against him to begin the year. He had horrible control issues last season at this same level as well, so that is something to monitor.

Williams (shoulder) is getting closer to pitching in extended spring training games.

Williams, one of the Brewers' top pitching prospects, has been brought along slowly this spring while he recovers from a shoulder injury. Things appear to be moving in the right direction for him, and he may have a chance to get into a game at some point in May.

Torres owns a 5.40 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, and 8:6 K:BB in 10 innings over eight appearances out of the Brewers' bullpen this season.

Torres' numbers aren't pretty, and they were not helped by the four earned runs he gave up over his last four outings. He has a spot in the Brewers' bullpen for now, but that will be in jeopardy when fellow reliever Corey Knebel (oblique) is ready to return.
